Premier League's jam-packed TV schedules after Sky Sports and TNT sign huge deal

The Premier League's bumper new £6.7billion broadcast deal will see more games than ever shown live in the UK from 2025.

The four-year deal means Sky Sports will air 215 games after winning the rights to four of the five packages, while TNT Sports will show 52 games. Amazon Prime Video, however, did not bid for any rights despite having broadcast 20 games a season under the previous deal.

The 2025/26 season will see every Premier League game kicking off outside the traditional Saturday 3pm blackout televised for the first time ever. Sky has the rights to packages B, C, D and E while TNT has retained package A.

As a result, Sky will broadcast all the games on Friday and Monday evenings. They will also get first choice on weekend matches, with Sky airing every fixture on Saturday evening, Sunday at 2pm and Sunday at 4.30pm.

That will come as a boost to supporters, who have been unable to watch several big games that had been moved to Sunday at 2pm due to the involvement of several Premier League sides in the Europa League and Europa Conference League.

"We are delighted to announce new deals with Sky Sports and TNT Sports that will extend our partnership for a further four years and see more Premier League matches than ever before shown live from 2025/26 onwards," Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said of the deals.

"As long-standing and valued partners, Sky Sports and TNT Sports are renowned for consistently delivering world-class coverage and programming. We are also extremely pleased to extend our partnership with BBC Sport, which will continue to bring weekly highlights of all Premier League matches to the widest possible audience in the UK.

"The outcome of this process underlines the strength of the Premier League and is a testament to our clubs, players and managers who continue to deliver the world's most competitive football in full stadiums, and to supporters, who create an unrivalled atmosphere every week."
