Bam Margera has been granted permission to see his son after reaching a sobriety milestone.

The former Jackass star now plans to see his little boy for Christmas after he was given access via monitored visitation with Phoenix.

It's claimed Bam will be allowed to see his son with a professional supervisor when he is Southern California, where Nikki lives with the child. Mr Glass divulged that as of yet no potential dates for a visit have been passed to either Nikki or him.

The troubled star's estranged wife Nikki's legal representative David Glass reportedly informed TMZ of the decision. However, the publication reports that Bam has told them he hasn't seen Phoenix face to face for over 200 days as it is and wants to see him as close to Christmas as he can, especially as Phoenix also celebrates his birthday around then. The star has claimed he has only been able to FaceTime his son up until now and hopes to jet to LA to attend an event in the coming weeks and reunite with the child around the same time.

He has reportedly purchased $5,000 worth of presents for Phoenix which he has been waiting to give him. Bam recently went past the 100 days sober milestone with his sobriety aiding his ability to now see his son in person.

Earlier this year Bam took aim at his former Jackass co-stars in a brutal rap. The 43-year-old former prankster has a feature on a new single called Feel Like Bam by rappers Cult Shotta and Tanboy Miguel.

In his verse, Bam takes the opportunity to mock his former Jackass co-stars' skateboarding skills, before challenging Johnny Knoxville to a fight and accusing him of ruining his skateboarding career. The reality TV personality admits he "had to take a lesson from the darkness" before saying "Knoxville, he's going to be there, so find out if he has the stuff to find out when I'm going to f**k you up".

He also takes shots in the song at Jackass director Jeff Tremaine, who Bam has been feuding with since he was dropped from the last movie in the Jackass film franchise. And when he wasn't taking aim at his former colleagues in the music video, he was seen kissing a glamorous brunette woman.
