Jamie Lynn Spears has show off her jungle weight loss after she sparked a fix row following her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! exit.

The 32-year-old younger sister of chart superstar Britney Spears, 42, managed to crowbar herself into two huge reality shows at the same time of year – putting herself through her paces on both. Back in September, Jamie Lynn was unveiled as one of the celebrities taking part on season 32 of Dancing With The Stars, America’s version of Strictly Come Dancing.

But the actress proved unpopular with viewers and she was voted off in the second week of the contest. Dancing With The Stars’ loss was I’m A Celebrity’s gain, however, as the American star suddenly had space in her diary for a trip to Australia to take part in the ITV reality show.

While in the Aussie jungle, viewers saw Jamie Lynn struggle through nail biting trials, scrape by on basic rations, and break down in tears as she missed her kids. The star ultimately ended up walking away from the show after just 10 days as it was claimed medical reasons forced her out of the jungle.

Now that she’s back in the USA, Jamie Lynn has had the time to reconnect with her Dancing With The Stars co-stars – and was available to appear on the grand finale, sparking anger from I'm A Celebrity fans. She rejoined the other celebrities of the season as all the contestants from the season were back to hit the dance floor one last time before the winner was crowned.

And after putting herself through her paces with dance practice, and effectively starving herself in the I’m A Celeb camp, Jamie Lynn showed off her toned figure as she prepared to return to the dance contest in a shimmering gold dress. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the star posed and smiled in an eye catching minidress after shedding the pounds on a diet of rice and beans for 10 days.

After crashing out early in the contest, Jamie Lynn hinted she hopes to return to Dancing With The Stars in 2024 for another stab at success. Posing in a mirror, the actress made a video of herself sounding upbeat and excited. She declared: “Hi guys! My name’s Jaimie Lynn and I’m a dancer. Season 33, I’m coming for ya!”

The timing of Jamie Lynn’s appearance on Dancing With The Stars and I’m A Celebrity has sparked a conspiracy theory involving the American star, however. Some reality show fans are convinced she quit I’m A Celeb specifically to be able to return to California to feature on the finale of Dancing With The Stars.

The current season of I’m A Celeb if still ongoing, so Jamie Lynn could theoretically still be on the show if she hadn’t quit. One fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, hypothesised: “Hang on a minute. Jamie-Lynn left the jungle due to medical grounds & is now back on Dancing With The Stars in USA? So she just so happens to fall ill & leave in time for the DWTS finale? Do me a favour!”

And another had previously mused: “Jamie Lynn Spears QUITS I'm A Celebrity on 'medical grounds' Hmmm, the DWTS finale is next week and won’t she be contracted to appear on that?“ A third posted a screengrab of Jamie posting from the DWTS set and wrote: “Are these the medical conditions that meant Jamie-Lynn had to leave early?!“
