The oldest club competition in world football is edging ever closer to its business end, with the fourth-round fixtures of the FA Cup due to take place at the end of January.

Before the ties get underway, there is the exciting prospect of a draw to be conducted - and, of course, third-round replays to be contested. The heavyweights of the Premier League entered the fray in the third-round and Manchester United, Tottenham, Leicester and Southampton are among the teams to have progressed.

The weekend's most mouth-watering clash pits Manchester City and Chelsea against each other once more, with coverage of the fixture including the draw ceremony.

Here is all the information you need ahead of the fourth-round draw...

When is the draw for the FA Cup fourth round?

The FA Cup fourth-round draw will take place ahead of Sunday evening's third-round encounter between Manchester City and Chelsea, who also met in the Premier League on Thursday. City grabbed the points on that occasion, beating the west Londoners 1-0 thanks to Riyad Mahrez's winner.

Mark Chapman will host the draw and he will be joined by Emile Heskey and Karen Bardsley. Heskey lifted the FA Cup with Liverpool in 2001, while Bardsley won the Women's FA Cup on three occasions (2017, 2019, 2020) with Manchester City.

The draw is expected to take place at approximately 4:05pm GMT, 25 minutes before kick-off at the Etihad Stadium.
