Fred Sirieix has been accused of being "rude" and "ageist" by I'm A Celebrity viewers after an exchange with Sam Thompson.

The First Dates star was accused of shutting down his campmate as the celebrities deliberated over the latest Bushtucker Trial. Fred completed his first solo Bushtucker Trial the day previously, but that didn't stop him from declaring he would also take part in Tuesday's challenge.

It was decided Marvin Humes would definitely do the challenge as he was the only remaining campmate not to do an elected Bushtucker Trial. However, when it came to deciding who would join him on the Fly On The Wall challenge, Fred wasted no time in putting himself forward.

"I'll go with Marvin," he announced before any of his other campmates had put forward their own views on doing the trial. Sam then expressed an interest in doing the trial with Marvin, but Fred refused to listen. "I'm happy to do it and want to bring some stars back for the team," Sam said before Fred cut in: "I can see you don't want to go, don't worry I am going. Sorry Sam, you can carry on playing with your toys. We are going to do the men's stuff."

Later in the Bush Telegraph, Sam said: "I'm not going to argue about it. I don't have a backbone." I'm A Celebrity viewers were not impressed with Fred and his attitude towards Sam. One fumed: "Oh Fred wtf, come on, it should’ve been Sam..."

A second added: Not Fred acting like Sam’s not grown up enough to do the trial as if he hasn’t spent all week having an actual paddy because he’s not the camp chef," while a third wrote: "Nope, 2nd time he's acted like that. Fred's overpowering and rude!"

Another exclaimed: "Someone really needs to stand up to Fred. First he's non stop rude to Josie, and now the way he has spoken to the camp 2 nights in a row. Someone, please say something to him for God's sake."

"Fred deserves to go for making Sam pull that sad face," a fifth vented. It comes after Fred declared he would be taking on Monday's Bushtucker Trial, despite Marvin also expressing a keen interest.
