Killers of the Flower Moon is now streaming, here’s how to watch at home

Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon is finally available to watch at home. The epic western crime saga from the Goodfellas and Wolf of Wall Street director made its home debut today (December 5) on several streaming platforms.

After being named film of the year by the New York Film Critics Circle, Apple has launched the acclaimed, award-winning epic on premium video-on-demand platforms in collaboration with Paramount Home Entertainment. The film may still be showing in cinemas, but the epic drama is now available in more than 100 countries ahead of its global release on Apple TV+.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, the film takes place in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that became known as the Reign of Terror. The film tracks the suspicious murders of the Osage, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight after oil was discovered beneath their land.

Based on David Grann’s bestselling book of the same name, Killers of the Flower Moon is directed by Scorsese and written for the screen by Eric Roth – whose writing credits include Dune, A Star is Born and Forrest Gump. The film boasts a stellar cast alongside DiCaprio and De Niro, including Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins and Jillian Dion.

The film proved yet another hit for Scorsese following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, receiving universal acclaim from critics who hailed it as a "masterpiece". It currently boasts a Certified Fresh 93 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

How to watch Killers of the Flower Moon at home

Killers of the Flower Moon is available to rent or buy from several digital retailers, including Amazon’s Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Sky. Prime Video customers can rent the film for £15.99 in either SD, HD or Ultra HD.

It is also available to rent for £15.99 or buy for £19.99 on Apple TV+ and the Sky Store.
