Frankie Bridge's 'festive' red suit is the perfect Christmas outfit
Party season is in full swing and our social media feeds are filled with items from the high street that are covered in sequins, sparkles, silver and, of course, the colour of the season: red. And one particular outfit from River Island which has been raved about by Frankie Bridge has us absolutely swooning. Posting to social media earlier this week, the former The Saturdays singer updated her 1.5 million Instagram followers with a round-up of fashion buys - named Frankie's Faves.
And the first on her list was a gorgeous bright-red suit from River Island that looks 'much more expensive in real life'.
Frankie paired the bold outfit with a pair of silver heels from EGO (£35) and a discoball sequin bag from PrettyLittleThing (£15). Sharing an image of herself to her Instagram story, she said: "Kicking off partywear faves with the ultimate festive red suit! The fabric is amazing and it's the perfect fit!! It sits so nicely, slightly oversized and looks soo much more expensive in real life than it does online!!"
She later shared all of her top partywear looks in a separate post and captioned it: "My fave season is in full swing… so it’s time for partywear: sequins, metallics, party dresses, theres some goodies."
We couldn't agree more. The River Island co-ord, which includes a blazer for £75 and trousers for £40, comes in UK sizes six to 18 and has a slightly oversized fit for maximum comfort. The trousers are pleated, which give it a really flattering fit despite them being loose and wide-leg.

You can add a waistcoat too, when it comes back in stock (River Island)What's even better - especially in the lead up to Christmas dinner - is the trousers have an elasticated waistband, meaning you won't be subjected to an ever-tightening button as you munch your way through a festive feast.
It seems it's not just us loving this statement outfit from the Loose Women panellist as, after posting her Frankie's Faves to Instagram, fans flooded Frankie's comments to share their awe of the ensemble.
One wrote: "Red suit is beautiful," while another added: "The red trouser suit is everything."
A third added: "The red suit and the 2nd dress omg!"
This wasn't the only bold look Frankie shared this week as shoppers were admiring her "ultimate party dress" from Nasty Gal, which is down to £126.75 (was £169), and is a "real showstopper" as well as this bright hot pink Style Cheat satin corsage halter neck maxi dress.
