I'm A Celebrity 'fix' row sees fans claim Fred given 'easy' trial to keep him in

ITV I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans have said Fred Sirieix was given and "easy" trial to keep him in the show.

The fix row has come about after Monday night saw him take part in the Celebrity Distressing Rooms Bushtucker trial, where he managed to bag himself seven out of nine stars. The aim of the game was to go through various rooms to try and find as many hidden stars as he could.

Each room was a play on words and revealed what critters were behind the door. For example, there was a Dame Judi Stench room with rotten food, rodents in Rat Damon's and a space full of pigeons in the Pecklan Donnelly room.

Fred managed to rack up an impressive amount of stars for camp – but some viewers at home thought he got off easy. Many took to Twitter to talk about how they thought the trial was a "fix".

One wrote: "It’s a fix.. easy trial & A&D telling him where they are!.. he still missed a few but they can’t all get 9 stars… let me guess Fred will be safe tonight too? Smh." While a second said: "yeah omg its a fix guys!!! #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity," as a third added: "Easy challenge for Fred. THIS IS RIGGED."

"ant and dec basically just telling fred where the stars are and we're supposed to believe nella was the one with a trial rigged lmaooo," a fourth commented.

This isn't the first time that Fred has been caught up in some drama while on this year's series of I'm A Celeb. At first Fred was appointed to be the head chef of the camp but this has now been changed to Josie Gibson – much to Fred's disappointment.

Fred has been seen to be chiming in on the cooking, despite his job now being the washing up. Critiquing the This Morning presenter's cooking, Fred said: "There’s no method, there’s no technique – she just wings it and invents it as she goes along. It’s better if I look away and stay away from the kitchen Because that just drives me crazy."

Meanwhile, at the start of the series, Fred fell out with YouTuber Nella Rose. Nella was upset when Fred said that he could "be her dad", meaning due to the age gap between them.

However, Nella took this the wrong way and was offended due to her dad passing away. She went on to confront Fred where she called him a "weirdo" and wondered why he would say such a thing – in a moment which received more than 800 Ofcom complaints.

The pair concluded by agreeing they wouldn't be the best of friends, with there being tension between the two of them until Nella was the second celebrity to leave the camp on Monday night's episode.
