The truth behind Nella Rose's lonely I'm A Celebrity exit has been revealed, after viewers were concerned nobody was there to meet the YouTube star on the bridge on Monday night's show.

There was further concern when second evictee Nella headed back to the hotel and was greeted by fellow ex campmate Frankie Dettori. Hours later it was revealed that Nella would not be taking part in the obligatory ITV daytime interviews. Lorraine Kelly set rumours racing when she said Nella is "not talking to anybody this morning" after her departure from the jungle, calling it "a shame".

But in reality, the Mirror can exclusively reveal that speaking to Lorraine was "never on the agenda" and sources close to Nella explained she just wanted to relax for the day and get some sleep, which many other celebs have done in the past. The source close to Nella said: "There seems to be some confusion but Nella has just been relaxing on her first day out of the jungle.

"It is quite common for contestants to do that and she will be giving her views and thoughts about her time in the jungle on ITV on Wednesday." Contestants can often choose between Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women in terms of exit interview, and it is not confirmed Nella will even choose Lorraine from the options.

Fans also spotted Nella was not met by anyone on the famous bridge jungle bridge, leading to speculation she might be in Australia on her own. But a friend of Nellas also said there was a good reason she was not met on her exit but she was going to have a great week with her family now on the Gold Coast.

The source added: "Her brothers had commitments and so had to head out to Australia quite late so they didn't make it in time to be on the bridge for her but they are going to have a week together now in Australia which is going to be great fun."

Nella's brothers are not the only ones leaving it late to come out to Australia. Rochelle Humes is also currently en route to the Gold Coast and will miss husband Marvin's exit if he leaves the show tonight.

I'm A Celebrity viewers were left upset and confused over Nella's exit after the star was left alone at the end of the bridge. Evicted contestants are usually greeted by a loved one of their choice after leaving the jungle, with Frankie Dettori being met with his wife on Sunday's first eviction.

But, after speaking with Ant and Dec, viewers were saddened to see that nobody was waiting for Nella as she posed for photos. One fan wrote on X, formerly twitter: "It was so sad no one was at the bridge waiting for Nella."

A second added: "No-one there to greet #Nella at the end of the bridge. I get she's not everyone's fan, but I hope she has some good people around her all the same. We all need that in life."

"Wasn't a fan of Nella but sad no one was at the bridge waiting for her," another shared. And a fourth tweeted: "Ngl I do feel quite sad that Nella never had anyone waiting for her at the end of the bridge."
