BBC Strictly Come Dancing semi-finals songs and dances after elimination twist
BBC Strictly Come Dancing semi-finals songs and dances have been revealed after last weekend's elimination twist.
The last show saw no elimination for one of the first times after actor Nigel Harmen sustained an injury which meant he had to completely drop out of the popular dancing competition.
This meant that the remaining couples have sailed through to the semi-finals, with just two weeks left of this year's programme. Last week was musicals week with couples dancing to the likes of Beauty and The Beast, Dirty Dancing and Moulin Rouge.
However, next weekend there will be no special theme but the couples will still be putting their all into their performances as they fight to be part of the 2023 Strictly final.
But there will be an extra challenge as this will be the first week that the duos have to learn two dances - with there being two chances to impress the judges.

The pair had been planning to wow the Strictly judges and viewers Charleston to Step in Time from Disney's Mary Poppins but the couple have danced their last dance together.

Appearing on the BBC show later that evening, Nigel revealed he ended up in hospital after sustaining his rib injury while practising a jump for his planned routine.
Speaking with host Claudia Winkleman, the actor recalled: "I was leaping off a rostrum and was about to be caught by some very handsome men and as I flew, I was Peter Pan and as I landed, I was in A&E. I’ve done something to my rib basically and it’s quite painful. I’m a little bit high on painkillers as well, but I’m having a lovely time."
Nigel continued to tell viewers he'd "loved" his time as a Strictly contestant, adding: "This really hasn’t sunk in. When I watched everyone come down the stairs, I was a bit like, 'Oh, this is real, I'm not a part of this anymore'."
