Prince Harry has opened up about how he lost his virginity to an older woman in a field outside a pub.

In his memoir, Spare, the Duke of Sussex writes that it was a "humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion."

He continued: "I mounted her quickly, after which she spanked my ass and sent me away. One of my many mistakes was letting it happen in a field, just behind a very busy pub. No doubt someone had seen us."

While the identity of the woman has not been revealed, it’s not the first time the Duke of Sussex has been known to frolick in a field with a lady.

Harvey, now CEO of Cotswold Airport, has previously claimed she was "ambushed" at the Beaufort Hunt Christmas Ball and has described the kiss as “so hot, steam was rising from us.”

Speaking to the Daily Mail at the time, she said: "I couldn't believe it when he made a beeline for me.

"It was very nice, but as we were kissing I started to get worried that his bodyguards would be looking for him. I didn't want to get him into trouble.”

The Beauford Hunt Christmas Ball, where the kiss took place, was held in a marquee in the grounds of Badminton House in Gloucestershire.

According to Tatler, hunt balls were traditionally held in the grandest houses but now are more often held in marquees where guests can make as much noise and not have to worry about breaking anything too expensive.

These balls are typically held after a hunt and are essentially a big party for all those that are invited.

However there are a number of do’s and dont's that attendees must ensure they abide by that have been laid out by Tatler.

This includes making sure you don’t follow the Master around all evening (essentially the head of the foxhunting association), considering the correct footwear - as attendees will have to walk through muddy fields to get to the marquee - and making sure you’re the first on the dancefloor.

The high-end magazine also states that you should also aim to “show off by bidding really high at the live auction” and ensure that you “leave hunting early to go home and get ready for the ball.”

Since the revelations of how the prince lost his virginity have come out, Suzannah Harvey has denied that she was the "older woman" who took Prince Harry's virginity behind a pub.
