KSI vs Tommy Fury fight appeal result announced after YouTube claimed "robbery"
KSI has failed in his attempt to have his defeat by Tommy Fury overturned.
KSI was beaten on points by Fury in Manchester in October with the result initially announced as a split-decision victory before being changed to a unanimous one when one of the judge's scorecards was revealed to have been added up wrongly.
KSI was furious with the result and immediately appealed, but his efforts to have the result changed have been dismissed. A statement from the Professional Boxing Association read: "The PBA confirms that an independent review panel, consisting of two of the country’s leading King's Counsel and a third lawyer, has determined that there are no grounds to overturn the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight result from October 14, 2023."
KSI was adamant he should have had his hand raised, insisting the result was a "robbery". Robbery. It’s a robbery bro,” he said after the final bell. “How many shots did you land? You got hardly any shots off. Look at your face, look at your eyes. I’m the YouTuber and you’re the boxer, you have to win.
“[I won rounds] 1-3 and a point off, how do I lose a six-rounder? Unreal. He’s the man that’s meant to be the pro boxer. The amount of times he hit me in the back of the head and the referee only gave one point, and he was doing it over and over. He was trying to f*** up my equilibrium. It’s outrageous. We’re going to appeal. We need to appeal. I feel like I won that.”

"He can go on about how he was robbed, but it was his show [a Misfits event], his officials, his judges. So, are you saying that your own people, that you employed, robbed you?
"It’s very hard to fight someone who doesn’t want to fight. I don’t know [about the chance of a rematch], we’re gonna see. But that was a horrible fight to be a part of. He didn’t wanna fight, he didn’t want to stand there and give the fans a good fight. He just wanted to make it awkward, look horrible and run around the ring for six rounds. It’s very irritating for someone like me, who wanted to get in there and have a proper fight.”
