I'm A Celebrity's Marvin Humes shares major The Saturdays news amid reunion hope

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'s Marvin Humes left fans gutted on Thursday as he spoke about wife Rochelle Humes' girlband The Saturdays.

During the latest episode, Tony Bellew and Marvin, 38, discussed their wives in camp to which Tony asked: "Is the group that Rochelle’s with still going strong?" to which Marvin admitted: "Nah, that finished years ago. Not too long after we finished to be honest."

Suggesting being in a band would be living in each other's pockets, Marvin agreed and said: "It’s like this, but all year round" with Tony adding: "Little things, I would imagine, just p*** you off!" Marvin added: "Girls, it’s harder mate as well. Much more competition with each other. It’s all a bit mad."

Tony then asked: "Does she still sing, or enjoy singing?" with Marvin replying: "No, not really mate. She’s a great singer as well. She’s got her own businesses now, she does a bit of TV presenting."

Viewers were quick to react as they were left gutted as Marvin appeared to suggest there would be no upcoming The Saturdays reunion due to the JLS star admitting Rochelle doesn't really sing anymore and has other ventures.

Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "Not Marvin shutting down a Saturdays reunion #ImACeleb" while another questioned: "Hold on did Marvin say that The Saturdays didn’t get on #ImACeleb?" Elsewhere, a different fan added: "Yes perfect, let's talk about the Saturdays please cause I am ready for that reunion x #ImACeleb."

The Saturdays, made up of Rochelle, Una Healy, Mollie King, Frankie Bridge and Vanessa White, soared to fame in 2007 with hits such as All Fired Up, What About Us and Ego. The band went on a hiatus in 2014 with many of the stars since seeking careers in presenting, television and solo music.

Rochelle hosts This Morning and is also an entrepreneur with her ventures such as her matcha brand, Cloudcha, and baby hair and skincare business, My Little Coco.

And while it looks like The Saturdays won't be doing a reunion tour anytime soon, Marvin recently delighted fans with his boyband JLS, also made up of Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill, going on a greatest hits tour. The band is also set for a summer hits 2024 tour.
