Inside Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's 'mature' co-parenting relationship

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have put their past behind them and focusing on what is most important, co-parenting.

It's said the focus for Ben and Jennifer are their three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11 and in recent weeks the couple have been spotted laughing and smiling at their son's basketball game in Los Angeles.

The ex-couple were spotted chatting with their son ahead of his game and before backing his Mercedes-Benz into another car at a Halloween celebration in Santa Monica, Ben and Jennifer were also spotted chatting, seemingly showing their meaningful co-parenting skills.

Ben and Jennifer got married in 2005, in an intimate ceremony. They marriage came to an end in 2015 and Ben entered a treatment facility for alcohol addiction two years later. He thanked Jennifer for supporting him and caring for their kids while he was in rehab. The couple officially filed for divorce shortly afterwards and just a few months later, Jennifer drove Ben to rehab again as he tried to quit the drinking again.

Ben married Jennifer Lopez in 2022, while Jennifer has been living life dating John Miller since 2018. Apparently, Ben and John have "mutual respect for each other and are always very friendly with one another," a source told US Weekly. The source also said the two couples “are all mature” and have worked hard to make “their children the focus of those relationships.” John shares two children with his ex-wife Caroline Campbell and Lopez shares twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Lopez helped Ben get in a "better" place with ex-wife Jennifer, a source told the Daily Mail. Lopez and Ben bought a £49m ($60 million) mansion in Beverly Hills in May. The home includes 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, as well as reportedly having 15 fireplaces too. The mansion is a multi-storey home and features a swimming pool in the garden, a wine room and a whiskey lounge.

A second source told US Weekly that they all have worked hard to blend the families together. Ben and John have “a lot of mutual admiration and respect" for one another. Both Jennifer's have also " become close," an insider told US Weekly in May. Garner took her and Lopez's children to Disneyland in May. The children were seen going on attractions and posing in front of the castle.
