Sexy? No, no, no... Girls Aloud will swerve the skimpy outfits on their upcoming tour, for the sake of their children.

Cheryl admits her six-year-old son Bear has already been shocked to see what the group wore when they were first formed back in 2003. So she has vowed to wear a little more on tour this time around. “I don’t want Bear going to school and it being like, ‘I saw your mum’s ass the other day’,” Cheryl groans.

And Kimberley Walsh, who is mum to Bobby, six, Cole, four, and two-year-old Nate, laughs: “Catsuit I can maybe get on board with, but playsuit with my bum out? I don’t think my children would appreciate it either.”

Nadine Coyle, mum to Anaiya, nine, says of her daughter: “When she saw the last tour, she said, ‘Why is your bum out?’ So maybe we’ll have a little more material.”

Cheryl confirms, much to Bear’s relief, that the ladies will have “appropriate” costumes when their tour kicks off in May.
