ITV I'm A Celebrity's Nick Pickard has long been known as one of the original Hollyoaks castmates, having starred on the Channel 4 soap as chef Tony Hutchinson since in its inception year of 1995.

The English actor has enjoyed plenty of dramatic storylines in the fictional Cheshire suburb over the past three decades, navigating everything from affairs and cancer to the shock of that his character's babies had been swapped at birth. Hollyoaks fans may not be aware, however, that Nick was joined by his younger brother John Pickard on the beloved drama in 2005.

Like Nick, he trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and landed his first major on-screen role playing Neil Timpson in seasons 13 and 14 of Grange Hill.

John then appeared in EastEnders for three years, playing the role of Robbie Jackson's teenage friend, Kevin, from 1993 to 1996. In 2005, ten years after his brother first appeared in Hollyoaks, John made his debut in the drama, playing Dominic Reilly for five years before leaving in 2010.

John, who has also built a reputation as a talented stage actor, has also appeared in a 2016 production of Twelfth Night in London and 2012's Beauty and the Beast at the Newark Palace Theatre. Looking almost unrecognisable 11 years after leaving his role as Dom, John posed alongside his brother Nick and Hollyoaks legend Will Mellor, known as OG Hollyoaks character Jambo Bolton, earlier this year, much to the delight of the show's devout fanbase.

The famous acting trio had a great time catching up and even posed for a photo together. Will, who has since starred as Harvey Gaskell in Coronation Street, shared the photo on his Instagram account, expressing his joy at reuniting with his former co-stars. He wrote: "So good to see these boys tonight! Time goes by but when you get together it means so much!!"

In 2009, it was reported that Nick was 'disgusted' with series producer Paul Marquess after the axing of John from Hollyoaks and was considering a departure himself. Nick later shut down the speculation, however, confirming he had no intention of leaving the show.

Today, John and wife Katie Ray live in London with their beloved young daughter Ivy. When he's not in front of the camera, the talented actor is busy penning scripts and building his already impressive portfolio. He recently graduated from Goldsmiths College after completing an MA in screenwriting, exploring the creative, analytical and professional sides of scriptwriting for film and television.
