Luke Evans wows fans as he reveals whopping 17lb-weight loss in 10 weeks
Luke Evans followers gushed over the actor's impressive weight loss journey on Instagram Monday, as he shared he'd lost 17 pounds in 10 weeks.
The 44-year-old actor posted a video showing off his six-pack, wearing cooling eye patches, a hat and a pair of jeans. Evans is currently starring in a West End play, Backstairs Billy, at London's Duke of York Theatre.
Luke wrote that if fans want to burn fat, do a West End show. "Wanna burn body fat fast? DO A WEST END SHOW!!! Dropped 8kg in 10 weeks!! Only down side…it’s BL**DY WINTER Also cooling eye patches are a 44-year-old man’s bestfriend #mondaymotivation #motivation #fitnessmotivation #selfpreservation'," Luke captioned.
The post has received over 70,000 likes and over 1,300 comments. Luke's comment section was flooded with a string of heart-eye emojis, fire emojis and comments like "you look amazing" and fans asking Luke to take care of himself.

Luke Evans has had a dramatic transformation (BBC)This is not the first time Luke has shown off his abs on Instagram or posted his transformation. In 2021, Luke unveiled the results after eight months of intense workout transformation.
Luke has also been posting videos and pictures of himself shirtless on Instagram. On November 19, Luke posted a picture of himself shirtless, laying down, wearing blue shorts while looking out at his London view with the caption, "Happy Sunday b**ches! @backstairsbillyplay." He also posted a video of him singing Pavarotti in his underwear on November 11 while also wearing a beanie.

The actor is among those interested in taking over the role from Daniel Craig, who quit playing the suave secret agent after his fifth film, No Time to Die.
"It's a wonderful role but it's not easy and whoever gets it will have big shoes to fill," he said. "But this is the only time I will ever be connected to it, because by the time the role comes around again, I'll be way too old!"
The actor has starred in projects such as Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio, Dracula Untold, Ma and Echo 3. Luke is hitting the big screen on December 8 with Billy Porter in Our Son. Luke and Billy play a pair of gay dads going through a divorce, as they fight over custody of their eight-year-old son.
Billy was seen visiting London on Sunday and posed for a picture with the Backstairs Billy cast, which Luke posted. "Wonderful night last night with @theebillyporter visiting the show and taking a pic with me and my fabulous cast members and then a dressing room full of my gorgeous Lisbon neighbours! Felt the love last night," Luke wrote on Instagram.
