As we creep towards a new Formula 1 season, the annual spate of car reveals is almost upon us.

It is one of F1's annual traditions – before the start of any competitive action, each team on the grid shows off what their new cars look like. In the modern day, those reveal ceremonies have become more and more creative, with lights shows and innovative uses of technology now a regular theme.

But the teams have also begun to get a little more sneaky. In years gone by, they would show off the actual car that they plan to field in the world championship, though these days they are generally keen to keep their cars closer to their chests for as long as they can.

So even though the 10 teams will have new paint jobs for the coming season, don't expect to spot many interesting design innovations. Anything the designers have up their sleeve will most likely make its first appearance at pre-season testing, rather than at a launch event.

In any case, car reveals are still always exciting. It seems mid-February will be the period in which there will be a flurry of events, with the teams now starting to tell fans when they can expect to see their new liveries.

Aston Martin were the first to share their launch date, and will host a ceremony on February 13th at their Silverstone base. Ferrari will show off their new car a day later on February 14th. The location has not been officially confirmed, though the event is likely to take place, as it did last year, at their Maranello HQ.

AlphaTauri were next to reveal their launch date which, as it stands, will make them the first to show off their new paint job. Their February 11th event promises to be a glitzy affair in New York City.

McLaren are yet to announce where their reveal will take place, though the date is set for February 13th – the same day as Aston Martin. Alpine's event will come a few days later on the 16th, and will take place in London. Williams have now shared a February 6th launch date, at an unspecified location.

Mercedes became the seventh team to announce their plans, revealing a February 15th launch event at Silverstone. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will be in attendance to watch at the cover is pulled off the W14 car which they hope will offer them more opportunities to win races than they had last year.

Defending champions Red Bull will show fans the machine Max Verstappen will be driving on February 3rd, also in New York like their sister team AlphaTauri. Alfa Romeo's event will take place on February 7th in Zurich. Haas were last to announce, but will be the first to host their event with a January 31st event planned.
