Strictly Come Dancing Tour 2024 line-up in full with major star missing
The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour has announced all the fan-favourite stars joining the line-up.
Layton Williams, Angela Rippon and EastEnders star Bobby Brazier are among the many famous faces entertaining fans all across the UK in the upcoming tour. The stars are joined by their professional dance partners Nikita Kuzmin, Kai Widdrington, Dianne Buswell and more.
Over the weekend, Angela Scanlon and her dance partner Carlos Gu were voted after finding themselves in the bottom two against West End star Layton. Appearing on Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two, Angela opened up about her final stint and how she felt the loss 'deeply'.
Although she was voted off the show, the star and her dance partner are one of the names joining the Live Tour. However, Johanne Radebe is noticeably absent from the line-up, as are quarter-finalists Nigel Harman and Katya Jones.
Here, we reveal the full list of stars and dancers taking part in the tour.
Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourBobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell
Bobby and Dianne quickly became a hit among fans thanks to their chemistry on the dance floor and incredibly supportive friendship. On Saturday, he and Dianne were confirmed to be in the quarter-finals next weekend, after an incredible performance to Maxwell's This Woman's Work.
Bobby vowed to do the routine justice as he spoke of what the song meant to him and revealed the story behind his latest dance as he paid tribute to his mother Jade Goody - who died from cervical cancer in 2009 aged 27. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as he performed the routine for the judges.
It's no surprise the duo will be impressing the UK with their skills as they embark on the tour. Speaking about it, Bobby said: "I love dancing and I love Strictly, so what better way to continue this brilliant experience than on the live tour! I’ve heard from Dianne what a blast everyone has on the road, so I can’t wait to perform with her for those huge arena crowds next year."
Annabel Croft and Graziano Di Prima
Annabel Croft is currently partnered with Johannes Radebe but was paired with Graziano Di Prima for the Live Tour.
The tennis star and Johannes showcased their Paso doble to the sound of España cañí by Pascual Marquina Narro for Couples Choice Week on Saturday. Although they've managed to impress viewers and the judges, it looks like Johannes isn't continuing their partnership for the tour.
Thankfully, pro dancer Graziano - who was paired with Zara McDermott before she was voted out - stepped in to dance with Annabel. Speaking about the upcoming tour, Annabel said: "I’m used to interviewing people in front of very large crowds, but to dance in arenas for many thousands of people is going to be something else.
"Dancing every week on the TV show has been such a joy, so I can’t wait for the magic of the tour and to experience it with my new tour partner, Graziano."
Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Jowita Przystal
Channel 4 news presenter Krishnan and his original dance partner Lauren Oakley were the seventh couple to get eliminated from Strictly. Jowita, on the other hand, was eliminated third along with her celebrity dance partner Paralympic cyclist and swimmer Jody Cundy.
Fans were furious when Krishnan and Lauren were eliminated in favour of Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington. Head judge Shirley Ballas said she would have kept Krishnan, but it was too little, too late after Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke all opted to save Angela.
For the tour, the news presenter and Jowita will be partnered up. Krishnan said: "My whole time on Strictly has been life-changing. So the chance to keep going, take on another challenge and go on tour, this time with a new dance partner in Jowita, is irresistible. I can’t wait!"
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman 'sign deal' to host Strictly for two more yearsEllie Leach and Vito Coppola
Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola performed a sultry Argentine Tango during Couples Choice Week, with the actress impressing the judges with her skills during the performance, which brought a couple of tens and the place at the top of the leaderboard.
The two have such good chemistry that romance rumours started swirling about the two. Viewers didn't fail to notice that Ellie had her eyes fixed on Vito's and that the end of the routine saw they stay in a close hold together, with some thinking that they would kiss, such was the passion of the dance.
And now, the two will showcase their chemistry in further dances on tour. Ellie said: "I said before that appearing on Strictly was a dream come true and now, I will get to be on the tour as well! I can’t wait for January to experience it all over again – it’s going to be a blast!"
Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington
Angela made history as she became the BBC show's oldest-ever contestant. She was partnered with Kai Widdrington and the two impressed viewers at home with their incredible dances.
However, the 79-year-old veteran broadcaster got the boot in Blackpool last weekend along with pro dancer Kai. The pair found themselves in the bottom two again against Bobby and Dianne, but it was the third time unlucky and they were finally voted out in the dance-off.
Speaking after her elimination, Angela thanked pro partner Kai and said: "I have to tell you that the last nine weeks have probably been the most terrifying, the most fantastic, the most glorious, the most joyful that I have spent for a very long time in my profession.
"I have had the time of my life, people keep making reference to the fact that I presented Come Dancing, but that was 40 years ago, that was a different time! He [Kai] wasn’t even born then! But actually being this side of the competition, this side of the programme has been really an eye-opener for me in so many different ways.”
On the bright side, Angela and Kai will dance together once again on tour. She said: "Having really challenged myself on the TV show over the last seven weeks, it’s going to be wonderful to continue the Strictly magic on the tour next year. From hosting Come Dancing to performing for over 10,000 people at The O2 – I really will have completed the ultimate Strictly journey!"
Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu
Angela broke down in tears after her Strictly Come Dancing exit over the weekend. The Irish presenter and her dance partner Carlos Gu were voted off on Sunday night (November 27), after finding themselves in the bottom two against West End star Layton Williams.
Appearing on Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two recently, Angela opened up about her final stint on the BBC dancefloor. As host Fleur East welcomed both Carlo and Angela onto the show, a video montage of their time on the show was played. This led to Angela breaking down and admitting that she feels the loss "deeply."
However, she gets to perform once again, with Angela speaking about the upcoming tour: "I could never have imagined just how much fun Strictly Come Dancing would be. I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to continue our amazing journey next year, performing in literal arenas with Carlos and all the gang! Let’s go!”
Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin
Layton and Nikita have been the dream team since this year's series started. With Layton's West End experience and Nikita's expertise, the two delivered impeccable back-to-back performances. However, that didn't stop some viewers from complaining it "wasn't fair."
Despite the complaints, Layton and Nikita worked their hardest to be the best but still ended up in the bottom two over the weekend. Layton and Nikita found themselves in the dreaded dance-off but it was TV presenters Angela and Carlos who found themselves getting the boot from the BBC series after the judges delivered their verdict.
The two will be just as impressive touring around the UK, with Layton sharing his thoughts about the upcoming tour: "The Strictly tour means more sequins – lots and lots of sequins! I couldn’t think of a better way to end this fab experience. I can’t wait to dance in arenas across the country and meet all the fans who have supported my journey.”
