The cold months are upon us but this mind-blogging brain teaser may leave you hot and flustered.

Genting Casino have created a series of winter sports brainteasers to warm up the mind and get us thinking. The winter puzzle demonstrates your ability to be observant. It challenges you to find six snowboards tucked away in a snowy scene. If you can do it in a short amount of time you have a quick-thinking brain, quiz makers say.

Only people with "the sharpest eyesight" can reportedly identify every snowboard quickly. Only 33 per cent of players are able to solve the puzzle in under 20 seconds, says Genting Casino.

Studies have revealed that the more you exercise your brain by solving hard puzzles, the smarter you tend to be. Optical illusions and brain teasers try to provide some fascinating insights related to how our brains work.

A normal human brain can look at things or images differently forming a different perception from each angle. Many times, specific combinations of colour, light, and patterns can trick our minds into visually perceiving something that isn't there.

If you find yourself looking at the image for a long time don't fret; you will find one of the boards under a child making a snow angel. What's more, there is one tucked away behind presents underneath a Christmas tree.

One of the snowboards is just below the ice sculpture of a swan where an individual is holding a snowboard in the air - in the top right side. Take a glance at the person dragging a child on a sleigh in the centre of the image to find two hiding.

There is also a snowboard in the head of a snowman in the bottom right of the image. If you managed to spot all the snowboards within 20 seconds.
