Grace Dent has revealed the words she wants on her gravestone in a podcast filmed just before her I'm A Celebrity stint.

The food critic, 50, quit the ITV show just hours after viewers voiced their concern for her appearance in camp. Grace, known for her strong opinions on cuisine, had looked pale and a shadow of herself on Sunday night's show and said on camera "I just want to go home".

Prior to appearing in the Australian jungle, Grace joined Kathy Burke to speak all things death on podcast Where There's A Will There's A Wake. "I have literally said to family members, 'Will you do me a favour and just double check that I'm dead?' And they said, 'don't be ridiculous, Grace, you'll be embalmed'," she said. "And I was like, 'no, it means a lot to me to know'. So, because I'm really scared of scrabbling about inside a coffin, I want this really beautiful gravestone and really beautiful font, but it says, 'Let me out of here, you c***s'."

Laughing, Kathy responded: "That's right up my street." Grace added: "I kind of like the idea of on the gravestone as well, there's some kind of fingernails going down. So, people are like, 'oh my god, was she trying to get out at some point?' Just because I think it'll make people laugh."

The foot critic was picked to do the latest trial Down The Tubes but barely reacted and stayed mute the entire time hosts Ant and Dec were in camp – and her campmates were seen gathering around her to comfort Grace once the duo left the camp.

Fans are concerned that another star could walk following Grace's exit. YouTube star Nella Rose has previously stated that she plans to quit the show as she too has struggled with the hideous conditions of the series. The 26-year-old influencer clashed with 51-year-old Fred Sirieix early in the competition after he said he was old enough to be her father - and she took offence as he knew her parents are both dead. The online star was shaken by the argument and later confessed to Grace that she was having second thoughts about being on the ITV show - but said she didn’t want to be the first celebrity to quit.

Earlier on in the series, fans feared that Jamie Lynn Spears would quit as she struggled over missing her two daughters. She had initially isolated herself from campmates and appeared "miserable", with ITV bosses worrying she could be a "flight risk". However, the singer and actress appears to have since come out of her shell and seems to now be enjoying jungle life.
