ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! saw a major change in its usual format.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the show's beloved hosts, didn't enter the camp as they usually do towards the end of the episode to announce the results of the public vote. Instead, the celebs were asked to nominate three of their own to spend a night at the ominously named Misery Motel.

As a letter arrived in the camp to share the news, the celebs were asked to nominate three people. First Dates star Fred Siriex suggested that camp leader, Sam Thompson should make the decision. "I think Sam should decide as camp leader," he told his co-stars.

Sam commented: "I would not be wanting to nominate anyone for anything that I wouldn't otherwise put myself forward for so I will go and whoever else wants to join me." Boxing champ Tony Bellew and JLS star Marvin Humes also stepped up, saying they'd "I'll go and take one for the team,". After the show, a hilarious video on social media showed the trio entering their new camp, armed with torches and oblivious to what lay ahead.

On Monday's episode, hosts Ant and Dec had to explain why Masterchef's Grace Dent had unexpectedly left the camp. They reassured viewers that she "was doing fine". Ant said: "A day of big news in the jungle and sadly, Grace Dent has left the camp for medical reasons but she's doing fine and we all send our best." Dec added: "We certainly do."

The campers received a letter from Grace herself, which Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard read out. He read: "My Dear campmates, I'm so sorry to let you down. I have left the camp for medical reasons. My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all. You've held me up and it's been a pleasure being your friend through this experience. Leaving you all at this stage will be one of the saddest things in my life. I love you all. Your friend, Miss Grace Dent."

Responding to the sad news, jockey Frankie Dettori quipped: "Grace, we miss you!" While former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold shouted: "Love you, Grace!" "That's really sad," added Nick before JLS star Marvin Humes commented: "She hasn't let us down!"

A tearful Danielle went on to say: "Bless her, she did really well!" While First Dates star Fred Sirieix went on to say: "She didn't let us down!" Earlier today, ITV confirmed Grace's exit in a statement which read: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
