I think this series is one of the best starts we’ve ever had – we've already got people arguing, we've got people threatening to leave, I’m well and truly hooked.

I get serious FOMO when I'm watching, I wish I could go back in. I was a bit like Sam Thompson, everything's just overwhelming and exciting. I wasn’t thinking about the hunger, the challenges and the bugs, I was just thinking, ‘I can't believe I'm in the jungle.’

There was part of me when I was flying out there and when I was raiding the minibar just before I went in, I was thinking they'll surely give you some food when you're in there. And I remember when the first bag came down, I was like, I bet there's a Domino's Pizza in here and then it was just crocodile tail or something like that.

It's pretty daunting when you're in there and you realise actually, this is going to be me for potentially three weeks. I remember when I saw one of the cameramen when I was walking to a trial and he had some tic tacs and I was like, ‘Can I please have a tic tac?’ And they won't even speak to you, they won't give you a tic tac and I was like, ‘Mate it’s one calorie, come on!’ But they wouldn’t do it – it is exactly how you watch it on TV.

I am loving this series, I think the line-up’s great, there's a lot of big characters. Here's my take on the jungle action so far...

Nella and Fred row

From my perspective, with Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix's clash, I've also lost my dad so if Fred said to me, ‘I could be your dad’, I would have just taken it I think the way Fred meant it as an age thing.

But, then I can also see the other side, losing someone can be very, very hard and it is still quite fresh for Nella. I think she maybe took it the wrong way and blew it up a little bit too much.

When I was watching it I was thinking, I wish somebody would just sit Nella down and explain to maybe Fred meant it this way, rather than the way she took it. But it was nice to see them doing a trial together and maybe talking a little bit more because there's nothing worse than being in there and not getting along because you've spent your time with them.

And you know that the producers are thinking, ‘Let’s get them to do a dingo dollar challenge together’ to make them be together. I feel it's still quite raw for Nella so she took it the wrong way but I don't think Fred was out of order at all.

Danielle could be a dark horse

On who I'm enjoying so far...I really like Nick Pickard, I think he's coming across really well. I’d like to see a bit more of him. And Danielle Harold as well, she's a dark horse in the whole thing.

I think the favourites so far are Sam and Josie Gibson. Danielle seems to be doing really well, she's very likeable, she gets along with everyone, she gets stuck in, she has some funny one liners.

I think Danielle could be a real kind of underdog and do well in this so I'd like to see a little bit more of her maybe doing a trial by herself or something like that. But I'm excited to see how the dynamic changes now that you've got Tony Bellew and Frankie Dettori in there because they’re two massive characters, two guys that probably want to be the alpha male that have grown-up in sport and have won everything that you can win. They'll probably want to take charge or take lead so it's going to be interesting to see if anyone rubs them the wrong way.

Nigel Farage's bum

I think the campmates are giving Nigel Farage the benefit of the doubt now and it doesn't seem the same as when Matt Hancock was in. I feel like there was a lot more animosity towards him than there is Farage.

I just hope we stopped seeing his a**e. I don't know how many times I can see Nigel Farage’s a**e. I'm also glad that the likes of Nella and Fred questioned some of his morals because there's a lot of things that a lot of people won't agree with.

Jamie Lynn has turned a corner

For me, quitting would have never crossed my mind. If you sign up for something, you see it through.

But, I can see Jamie Lynn Spears is finding it quite hard. I'm not too sure that Nella is finding it as hard as what she said. She did really well in the group trial and it was quite a difference to when she was on her own and she said ‘I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’.

Jamie Lynn definitely looks like she wants to go so I imagine they'll probably call her into the Bush Telegraph and be like, ‘Look, if you want to leave you can but take 24 hours to think on it and we wouldn't want you to leave’. When you're in there you get to talk to somebody and obviously with how reality TV is now they'll have to keep an eye on them and make sure that they're all right.

Jamie seems to be doing better – I quite like her she's coming across pretty good. The first few days she was crying but I think maybe she's turned a corner now, she's starting to settle in a little bit. I don't think anyone will leave just yet but now they’ve been put into two camps that could change. If anyone leaves, it's probably the ones in the camp without food.
