English football's festive season is well known for its relentless schedule, with fans treated to a bumper calendar of fixtures from the end of December until start of January.

Alongside the traditional Boxing Day fixtures, there are is a packed fixture list for all Premier League clubs, with the timetable placing unique demands on players and staff. However, it is a cherished part of English football culture and the Christmas football schedule is a key part of every fan's social calendar.

As the Christmas parties begin, early December will also see the first round of fixtures being shown live on Amazon Prime between December 5th-7th. This midweek set of matches will be followed by a further five game weeks throughout the month of December, meaning that there is no better time to get signed up to watch all of the action unfold.

One of the highlights over the Christmas period is Manchester United playing Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Boxing Day live on Amazon Prime, with Erik ten Hag's men chasing Villa down in the race for Champions League qualification. This follows Arsenal's trip to face title rivals Liverpool at Anfield on December 23rd.
