Kim Kardashian slammed by fans for 'horrible parenting' of North West
Kim Kardashian has been slammed by fans after pictures of her daughter North West posted on social media appeared to have been edited to make her look thinner.
Enraged followers of the SKIMS founder and her 10-year-old were left disgusted by the move and took to online forum Reddit to criticise the move and express their sympathy for North. The images in quetsion were shared to the mutual account Kim, 43, shares with her daughter on TikTok earlier this month.
The pictures saw North dressed up in a grey velour tracksuit, with yeezy sliders and large dark sunglasses on. She wore her hair in a sleek straight style and posed pouting and leaning forwards as she mimicked her mum.

Fans suspected the images were edited (@kimandnorth)One fan sharing the images to Reddit wanted to gather opinions on if the photos had been edited as they suspected. Posting the snaps they wrote: "Are these photoshopped? I have partial blindness in one eye so I can’t really tell, but it looks to me like the door/wall behind is warped by her legs, on the left. Can anyone else see what I mean?"

Another user then agreed: "Yes, made the legs longer and slimmed her a bit. That’s incredibly sad." A second said: "It is so incredibly sad and disgusting. It’s the first thing I noticed when I saw the pictures. Honestly, it makes my stomach turn." A third offered; "I mean North watches her mom do it for all her photos, sadly it's been normalized and she might have even requested it."
Another social media user critiqued: "Photoshopping kids in photos is gross and is teaching these kids not to like something about themselves. Horrible parenting." A fifth mused: "Looks like they gave her a stretch filter and made her 6 feet tall. These shots are way too grown. Why can't she just be a kid?"

The awards bash celebrated a selection of people who have been leading the way in culture, fashion, entertainment and sport in 2023. Kim was named Tycoon Of The Year after the resounding success of the launch of her SKIMS Menswear line.
She was joined by actor Jacob Elordi and rapper Travis Scott in becoming cover stars for the celebration this year. However, Kim has been heavily criticised online for her cover - despite not being the first female to appear on the cover of the annual special edition.
Rihanna, Megan Thee Stallion, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Scarlett Johansson have all done it before her. But the critics still took aim at Kim for "taking away from the successful men."
