Daniel Craig has ditched his signature 007 looks in his latest dramatic transformation as fans compare his unrecognisable appearance to "an old grandpa".

The James Bond actor looks totally different in a new interview, sporting a pair of gold-framed circle glasses, complementing his bold eyewear with a sharp navy blue suit. It's not just Daniel's attire that's had a majoe switch-up, he also shows off a new hairstyle as his light locks are put in a side parting for the Omega watch video for Esquire.

Fans can't believe the 55-year-old's big change, with some saying he looks like an " Antiques Roadshow presenter" as they reckon he's in his "history professor era". Flocking to X, formally Twitter, viewers couldn't stop sharing side-splitting memes.

"The more I look at this photo the more I'm convinced Daniel Craig is just the prime minister of some small European country no one can find on a map," wrote another fan. While someone else said: "Daniel Craig is attractive yeah but he looks like a grandpa."

"He doesn't look like Daniel Craig to me," commented another. A fourth joked: "Daniel Craig looks like he's about to gently sack you for photocopying your a**e at the work Christmas do." While another added: "Daniel Craig looks like he's disappointed in you, not angry with you, just disappointed."

The jokes continued as someone else blasted: "Daniel Craig looks like he's about to tell your Nan her ceramics are worthless on Antiques Roadshow." Another quipped: "Daniel Craig looks like he's about to say the Eurovision votes have been counted and verified, and the winner can now be revealed." Someone concluded: "Daniel Craig turning ya down for a mortgage."

Daniel first debuted his new hairstyle as he arrived in style at a star-studded charity event in New York in September, hosted by George and Amal Clooney. The Albie Awards were named after Justice Albie Sachs, a South African jurist exiled for his activism against the apartheid regime, with the event now in place to honour "courageous defenders of justice who are at great risk for what they do".

Leading the celebrity arrivals was Daniel as he commanded attention with a new look that consisted of longer locks in comparison to his usually short blonde mane. The actor's hair was effortlessly teased and parted to one side. He completed the look with a slick navy suit and a bow tie atop a crisp white shirt and a pair of glasses.

Daniel arrived hand-in-hand with his stunning wife, Rachel Weisz, who looked gorgeous in a chic black and silver printed dress. She wore her hair straight and toted her belongings in a black clutch. Amal and George were, of course, also in attendance and looked every inch the power couple, with the brunette in a sensational white sequinned dress and the Hollywood star suited and booted.

Also in attendance at the event were supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber. Fashion designer Donatella Versace, make-up entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury, actress Julianne Moore, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and the Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev were also in attendance, as were Viola Davis Kate Moss, Anne Hathaway, Mary J.Blige, Greta Gerwig and Jodie Turner-Smith.
