Nella Rose's famous co-star has remained silent following concerns her stint on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is damaging her career and mental health.

Oobah Butler, who presents MTV show Catfish UK with Nella, has yet to discuss her appearing on the ITV show. It comes after fans expressed concerns for the influencer following her clash with campmate Fred Sirieix on Tuesday night. Some viewers were left wanting I'm A Celebrity bosses to step in and have a word with Nella, 26, while others defended her amid the huge backlash.

Nella felt "disrespected" and "offended" by comments unwittingly made by First Dates star Fred about her family losses. She lost her dad in 2020 and her mum when she was just 19, and didn't take kindly to Fred's apology and told him they will "not be friends" during their time together Down Under.

Many have rushed to Nella's defence and reminded others that the young star is still dealing with the grief of losing both her parents at such a young age. Some have called for her famous pals to collect her from the jungle before she potentially damages her career. Filmmaker and presenter Oobah worked with Nella on Catfish since 2022, as they trek the UK searching for answers behind mysterious online profiles.

Since Nella has appeared in the jungle, he has yet to discuss her stint on the show. However Big Narstie took to his social media where he gave a balanced reaction to Nella and Fred's clash. The British rapper told his followers: "Bless @nellarose not easy greaving in public [love heart emoji] @fredsirieix1 didn't deserve that that was cross fire from a greaving person."

Many agree with Big Narstie, with one viewer adding: "When you are seeing the world through the lens of grief, of course you will interpret people's words and actions via that vista. Compassion should be afforded to the bereaved in those moments. Those hating on #nellarose for her reax needs a reality check #ImACeleb."

Others have been contacting the star's friends on social media to request they collect their pal from Australia. Tweeting Chunkz and Yung Filly, who regularly collaborate with Nella on YouTube projects, one I'm A Celebrity viewer told the two stars: "go and get @nellarose out of that camp. She's making Farage look normal. Career suicide #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb."

Another shared a clip of Nella and Fred's exchange in the Aussie camp and mused: "This was a really hard watch coz you can tell Fred is a genuine guy but nella took that well out of context @Chunkz @yungfilly1 have a word with ya gyal #betasquad #ImACeleb." A third added: "@Chunkz @yungfilly1 chat to your friend man."

Despite concern the row has damaged her career, many fans have predicted Nella will be fine due to I'm A Celebrity viewers not being her core audience. One said: "Nella will be fine after this job and money wise. The people that 'hate' her now were never her core audience and haven’t contributed jack sh** her career but mentally nah."

"People on tryna say nella’s career is ruined… it really isn’t pls. fake cancellers," someone else agreed, with a third adding: "Hope Fred and Nella can sort things out. Hope Nella can spin this and make this the big TV break to propel her career positively. Shame on ITV for that clip."
