Zara McDermott admitted she was furious as she caught up on the latest episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! on Tuesday night.

The axed Strictly Come Dancing contestant, 26, took to social media to share her thoughts on the recent update from the jungle as her boyfriend Sam Thompson, 31, camps alongside the likes of Fred Sirieix and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson on this year's series of the ITV show.

Tuesday night's instalment of I'm A Celebrity was action-packed, with First Dates star Fred upsetting YouTuber and Catfish UK presenter Nella Rose. Hosts Ant McPartin and Declan Donnelly also popped into camp to let the stars know Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn would be taking on the next Bushtucker Trial.

Watching at home, Zara was livid as the Geordie duo revealed her boyfriend Sam wasn't facing a gruesome challenge this time around. Speaking on her Instagram Stories, the former Love Island star told her followers: "I am furious to be honest that Sam is not doing this trial.

"When they said 'Sam, it might be you' I was thinking 'yessss'.... British public, lets have a word. Jamie lynn spears, bless her soul, crying the whole episode and what do we do? We vote her for a trial. what are we like? Look, I know it's probably going to be good entertainment but please, please... Sam Thompson will be better entertainment, I swear!"

Jamie Lynn was voted to take on the Climb of Cruelty Bushtucker Trial during Tuesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity, amid fears the 32-year-old American could quit the ITV series and walk away from the star-studded camp due to missing her two young children back home in the States.

Earlier in the episode, Jamie Lynn confided in campmates Sam and former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold and admitted to feeling the pressure. She told her co-stars: "I don’t know how I’m so emotionally weak." Trying to perk her campmate up, Danielle told the mum-of-two: "You’re so strong. This is tough babe, tough. So tough. It’s not easy."

Jamie Lynn didn't seem to take an comfort from Danielle's words, replying: "Why am I crying so much? Josie [Gibson} has a baby at home…" Former Made In Chelsea star Sam then tried to console an upset Jamie Lynn, telling her: "It’s important to remember you’ve come from a whole different continent, you don’t know anyone here, it’s hard. It’s real hard."

Danielle added: "Look at the s*** you’ve been through in your life, right? This, a little bit of rain in the jungle, nothing." Jamie Lynn then argued: "But at least all that s*** I could go home to my babies every night, you know? That’s it, that’s all I need in life. It feels a little bit overwhelming. They’re not even close. I’ve got to just do it. I don’t know why I’m being such a baby."
