Fugitive brothers fled Ireland by flying first class to Mexico hideout

Two fugitive brothers who fled Ireland after committing serious crimes have been flying out their family and friends first class to visit them at their Mexico hideout, it has been revealed.

The siblings were wanted after being part of a gang linked with slain hitman Robbie Lawlor. They led the gang in the infamous Drogheda feud which resulted in four deaths and numerous fines or prison sentences.

After receiving death threats following the brutal murder of Keane Mulready Woods, aged 17, in January 2020, the brothers left Ireland. They've since lived in Spain, Dubai, and now Mexico, with no international arrest warrants issued against them.

The brothers were due to face trial for serious crimes when they fled. If they ever return home, they'll be immediately arrested. A Garda source revealed: "They have been away now for over three years yet they seem to have plenty of money. They have been flying their relatives in and out of Mexico on first class tickets which cost a fortune on a regular basis."

"We have no idea what exactly they are doing in Mexico but we presume they are still in the drugs game." said a Garda source, who has been trying to pinpoint the brothers' location in Mexico, reports Dublin Live. The Irish authorities aren't in a hurry to bring them back as Drogheda has become more peaceful since their departure, despite ongoing issues with local families being harassed and forced to pay drug debts.

The brothers, who have distant family connections to the Kinahan cartel, reportedly met up with Daniel Kinahan in Dubai. The Garda source added: " We suspect they are working for the Kinahans in Mexico although we have no hard evidence of that yet." The brutal murder of 17 year old Keane Mulready Woods by Robbie Lawlor shocked Ireland. The teenager was kidnapped, killed, and his body parts were scattered across different locations. In retaliation, a hit squad was hired for a hefty sum to assassinate Lawlor.
