The Bubbly Bristolian, 38, bagged a cool £100,000 after winning the reality show, having entered the infamous house as a financial sales rep. She soon captured the hearts of the nation with her down-to- earth West Country charm and no-nonsense attitude and went on to win with 77.5% of the public vote – the highest percentage out of any other Big Brother series.
However, Josie's new-found fame was a world away from her humble beginnings, which saw her travelling in a caravan with her family in the summer for eight weeks at a time with no electricity, gas or running water. Her mum, Mandy, previously said: “We’d be gone for eight weeks at a time, we are old-fashioned people, that’s how we live. When you live in the van then you don’t waste water, electricity or your time.

After winning Big Brother and releasing her perfume, 'Josie', Josie began presenting her Channel 5 show OK! TV the same year. She then appeared in three-part reality TV series There's Something About Josie, and was a reporter for Big Brother's Bit On The Side from August to November 2011. Josie has also appeared on Celebrity Wedding Planner, Let's Do Lunch with Gino & Mel, The Wright Stuff, Celebrity Juice, and Loose Women.

The star, who lives in a four-bedroom house in Bristol with her son, Reggie-James, is currently estimated by Spears to be worth £800,000 - which includes property, savings and investments. She has made the majority of her money from reality TV, however, Josie also has an annual salary from This Morning as one of its most popular presenters.

In November 2021, she became a presenter, filling in last minute for Holly Willoughby, before the mum-of-one was later confirmed as the series' holiday cover. Since Holly’s exit, the star is now one of the rotating presenters with others including Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary and Craig Doyle. However, many fans want the West Country presenter to be named a permanent co-host on the ITV show.
Following her star turn on This Morning, Josie was then confirmed for I'm A Celebrity, where she reportedly secured a six figure sum to go into the jungle -though that pales in comparison to what Nigel Farage is said to have got with reports suggesting the former UKip leader bagged a whopping £1.5m. However, Josie is already one of the favourites to win the show, which means her net worth is set to soar even higher in 2024 as she's sure to be offered lots more lucrative deals.
