Brad Pitt's family feud - Son calls dad 'a**hole' and daughter drops last name
As Brad Pitt deals with a series of brutal snubs from both his son and daughter, we take a closer look inside the Pitt family's messy family feud.
Following years of speculation that the actor has remained estranged from the six children that he shares with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, both his adopted son and daughter took public swipes at their father this week. In one very bold instance in recent years, Brad's adopted son 19-year-old Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt called his famous father a "world class a**hole" on his Instagram story in 2020. Following this angry outburst, his adoptive 18-year-old daughter Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt also seemingly dissed her father as she dropped his last name during her induction ceremony in her sorority in college.
Brad's family drama comes as he continues to undergo a custody battle with his ex-wife actress Angelia many years after they divorced back in September of 2016. After their messy split, Angelia was granted sole custody of their six children while Brad only received visitation rights. The former Babylon star was later given joint custody of his kids in May of 2021, but Angelia later won an appeal against it. The actress currently still has sole custody over their kids while Brad is able to visit his minor children.

The former Bullet Train actor also has three adoptive children with his famous ex-wife - 22-year-old Maddox Chivan, 18-year-old Zahara Marley, and 19-year-old Pax Thien.

The slams against Brad from his children began with his son Pax as he publicly criticized his father on social media three years ago. At the time, Pax reportedly posted a snap of Brad being awarded an Oscar for his role for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and included a few brutal choice words for his adoptive father.
Underneath the photo, Pax wrote: "Happy Father's Day to this world class a*****e!! You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person," and continued: "You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so."

Angelina originally adopted Pax when he was just three years old from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2007. Pax was dropped off at the orphanage when he was a newborn by his biological mother who was addicted to heroin. A year after Angelina adopted the toddler, Brad formally adopted Pax as his child as well.
As for his daughter Zahara, she also snubbed her dad during the induction into her sorority in college by noticeably dropping his last name during her introduction. As Zahara was being iniated into the Alpha Kappa Alpha at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia she purposefully left out her famous father's name.

This series of blasts against their father comes as Angelia alleged that Brad mistreated her and their children during a private plane ride from Europe together in September of 2016. The reportedly violent incident is what reportedly prompted Angelina to file for divorce from the star after 12 years together. In court documents, Angelia claimed that Brad was drunk and out-of-control during the plane ride and reportedly choked one of their children and hit another across the face.
