Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole has admitted that he doesn't think Craig Revel Horwood would hand out a score of 10, even if he believed the couple deserved it - and we want to know what you think.

The stern judge irritated viewers on Saturday night (November 18) after he awarded Nigel Harman just seven points for his impressive Quickstep. The Casualty star placed second from bottom on the judges’ leaderboard, leaving Nigel visibly upset.

Footage has emerged on social media, which showed the dancer darting backstage within seconds after the BBC cameras stopped filming. Frustrated fans took to X to scold Craig for his harsh scoring as one person vented: “I feel so sorry for Nigel, I thought he looked and danced amazingly but Craig has to put a dampener on things & Nigel really takes things to heart his face was distraught, don't worry Nigel you were brilliant.”

Another wrote: “Just caught up on #Strictly I too would be fuming if I were Nigel.....others had timing issues yet were scored 9s and he gets a 7 from Craig and 8s from the other judges?!” The response comes as Craig was accused of undermarking across the board, as he handed Angela Scanlon an eight for her Argentine Tango, while the other judges gave out 10’s.

In frustration, one watcher wrote: “Watching #Strictly a bit behind and Craig needs his ear flicked for only giving Angela Scanlon an 8. That Argentine Tango was out of this world!” He also refused to give Ellie Leach a 10 for her energetic Charleston, despite the other three judges awarding her the perfect score.

“Craig, seriously?! This dance definitely deserved a 10! Loved it Ellie and Vito,” wrote one person, as a second echoed: “Layton, Ellie and Angela S all deserved 40s for the dances. I don't know why Craig is being so overly pedantic to the point of ridiculousness.”

Layton Williams also scraped a nine from the sharp-tongued judge after his action-packed Couple's Choice, and viewers were less than impressed. One user shared: “I normally agree with Craig with the other contestants but he should of given Layton a 10 for that.” Following Craig’s savage scoring at Blackpool, we want to know if YOU think the judge was too harsh? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.
