Black Friday deals have landed at Halfords - we pick out the best deals

The deals knock up to 30% off standard prices

We all know the Black Friday run-up is a great time to stock up on household appliances, smart home gadgets, fashion and beauty products, or even some Christmas gifts - but motorists and cyclists aren't being left out.

Motoring and cycling giant Halfords is also getting in on the act, discounting dozens of its most popular products, with some big savings that have already started.

Some of the deals only cut out a few quid, but some of them are properly tempting.

From a cut-price Karcher to a discounted dash cam and a bargain bicycle, here's my list of the products I'll be watching closely this week.

1. Karcher K2 Power Control Car Pressure Washer - was £134.99, now £99.99

Pressure washers are a great thing to have in the shed at this time of year. Not only is it great for getting muck and salt off your cars, but it's also handy for blasting away fallen leaves, or giving your driveway a bit of a spruce-up.

The K2 is the cheapest Karcher washer in the Halfords range, and it isn't Karcher's cheapest jetwash either. But it's a good price for a very competent pressure washer from one of the best brands in the business.

2. Nextbase 320XR+ Front and Rear Dash Cam Bundle with 32GB SD Card - was £169, now £109

A branded dash cam with two channels for just over £100 is a great deal, so take a close look at this one.

Nextbase makes some of my favourite dash cams and this one is a really popular model, and it's great to see a bundle like this with such a hefty discount.

Bear in mind a non-branded dash cam will cost quite a bit less, even for a dual-camera setup, and it'll do a good job, but if you want top quality, this is one of the best options.

3. Sony XAV-AX1000 6.2" Car AV media receiver with Apple Car Play and Bluetooth - was £289, now £199

One of the best ways to enhance your in-car experience is to upgrade the stereo, particularly in older cars. This double-din Sony looks an absolute steal at less than £200. Sure, you can buy Chinese brands cheaper than that, but Sony really knows its stuff when it comes to car audio.

Remember, this is Apple Car Play only, no Android Auto for some reason, and it's only through a wired connection. But it's still a cheap way to beef up your audio enjoyment.

4.  Halfords Large Car Cleaning Bucket Bundle - was £43.28, now £25

The Halfords bucket bundles are great value for money, and the deals are landing at a time when it's really important to keep your car clean. Salt from the roads is a menace and can cause premature rusting on all cars.

This one includes the standard Halfords cleaning products - there's a more expensive Advanced bundle I've tested, but for basic cleaning it's just what you need.

5. Apollo Phaze Mens Electric Mountain Bike - was £799, now £585

How's this for a bargain e-bike offer? Less than £600 for a basic electric mountain bike seems very tempting.

Don't expect miraculous range from its 8.7Ah battery, and bear in mind its front-mounted motor is not in the ideal position - rear hub motors are better - but it's obviously a great entry-level e-bike, and could be perfect for getting you back out on two wheels again.

6. Boardman ADV 8.6 Mens Adventure Bike - was £825, now £701.25

Adventure bikes like this are the perfect fitness machine. While they're ideally suited to road riding, their frame geometry and versatile tyres mean they handle cycle trails and even the odd muddy path very well.

This one has 18 Shimano Sora gears and even disc brakes.

Drop handlebars won't suit everyone, so also consider a lightweight trail bike or commuting bike, but this is a great price for a premium adventure bike with plenty of trimmings.
