I'm A Celeb's Josie hints at jungle romance and begs Fred to help her find a man

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'s Josie Gibson left viewers in hysterics during Sunday's first episode.

During the first episode of the 2023 series, the celebrities all met each other as they descended into the Australian jungle. And it wasn't long until Josie Gibson begged fellow campmate and First Dates maître d' extraordinaire Fred Siriex to find her a hot man. The hilarious moment happened when Josie, 38, decided to acquaint herself with Jamie Lynn Spears, who is the younger sister of pop star royalty Britney Spears.

Asked what she does, Josie said: "I’m a TV presenter", adding: "I work on this show called This Morning. It’s so fun, it’s so good. Fred, do you know who Fred is? He’s a restaurateur. Ever watched First Dates? It’s brilliant." This prompted Josie to joke to Fred: "Find me a hot man!" to which Fred replied: "You need a hot man?"

Josie then insisted: "I don’t need one!" with Fred quipping: "Anyone single in here? Anybody single?" to which Josie laughed: "Fred, I’m not desperate!" Viewers were left in hysterics over the scenes as one person said: "I love Josie Gibson #ImACeleb", a different account put: "I just love Josie, she's fab and just hilarious!! #ImACeleb" while another added: "I love how Josie is filling Jamie in on who everyone is. #ImACeleb!"

It comes as Josie revealed to OK! back in September that she was single as she has "too much pride" and "self-respect" to settle. The ITV star told the publication: "I’m single as a Pringle because I’ve got too much pride in myself and too much self-respect to ever go near anyone who doesn’t follow the same values I do."

Josie added: "You’ve got to be careful that people are with you for the right reasons. So the only man in my life is my [son] Reggie [who is five-years-old]." The star continued: "I’m quite old-fashioned and I’m cautious about who I bring into my son’s life, because I want to protect him. I’d have to be going out with someone a year before I introduced them to Reg."
