Meghan Markle looked incredible as she enjoyed a solo trip to a glitzy gala without her husband Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex attended Variety magazine's Power of Women gala in Los Angeles earlier this week, where she happily posed for the cameras on the red carpet. Meghan was all smiles as she spilled the beans about her and Harry's upcoming projects amid rumours of her Hollywood comeback.

Meghan commanded attention on the red carpet as she wore a beige and white gown which she paired with a small black clutch bag. She pulled her hair back into a stylish updo and accessorised her look with a simple bangle.

While in attendance at the event, Meghan was quizzed by reporters about her future plans and she was happy to reveal all. Speaking at the gala, Meghan teased: "We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can't wait until we can announce them, but I'm just really proud of what we're creating."

Her comments come amid reports the Sussexes are set for a "higher payout" from Netflix after signing a £80million ($100million) five-year deal. Back in 2020, Harry and Meghan signed a very lucrative deal with Netflix.

Signing up for a five-year contract, Meghan and Harry are believed to have agreed to an eye-watering £80m ($100m) to produce documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children's programmes. Since their deal was confirmed, the Sussexes have worked on their bombshell six-parter titled Harry & Meghan, as well as Harry's Heart of Invictus documentary.

They have also reportedly gained the rights to the romantic novel Meet Me At The Lake by Carley Fortune, with it set to be made into a film. Meghan has also been making moves in Hollywood after signing with talent agency William Morris Endeavor.

However, royal expert Graydon Carter believes she will distance herself from acting, turning instead to reality TV. Graydon, a former editor of Vanity Fair, said: "If there is a Real Housewives of Montecito show in the works, she’d be a shoo-in."

In fact, Real Housewives producer Andy Cohen said Meghan would be perfect for a spin-off of Real Housewives. Appearing at the annual BravoCon gathering in Las Vegas, he was asked who he would like to see on the show in the future. Andy then admitted that Meghan is top of his list, saying: "If we can get Meghan Markle, that would be interesting."
