Charlie Puth fans think he's tied the knot as he shares pic of lavish wedding

Charlie Puth has shared a photo of himself and his fiancée Brooke Sansone walking down the aisle at a wedding, prompting fans to wonder if they have got married.

The singer-songwriter, 31, announced that he'd got engaged to his partner Brooke just two months ago. Some fans wondered if they have already tied the knot though, following a post on his Instagram account this weekend - though it wasn't as it may have initially appeared to be.

He shared a black-and-white photo of himself and Brooke walking down an aisle at an apparent wedding. Charlie was seen wearing a traditional black suit, with a floral lapel, whilst Brooke opted to wear a pale gown for the occasion.

One version of the caption shared by Charlie - who's known for songs like Attention and See You Again - consisted solely of emojis. They included numerous heart-eyed emojis and others that depicted an overheated emoji too.

The post led some fans to congratulate the record producer and others questioned if the couple had got married. One person reacted: "NO WAY YOU ARE MARRIED!!!! CONGRATULATIONS." Another simply said: "Congratulations."

Someone asked: "ARE YOU MARRIED?" A fourth person responded: "YALL GOT MARRIED??" Whilst someone wrote: "Congratulations Charlie." Another said: "My favorite singer is now married." Someone said: "Oh my gosh, you are really married."

Charlie however has confirmed in the comments section that the photo was actually from someone else's wedding. Amid fans suggesting that he hasn't got married, someone wrote: "This is not their wedding photo. This is a photo when Brooke's brother got married a few months ago." Charlie responded: "Yes lol."

Charlie announced his engagement to Brooke on the platform two months ago. He shared photos of the couple taking photos together in New York, showcasing an apparent engagement ring that was visible on Brooke's finger.

He wrote in the caption at the time: "I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes. I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever."

The post prompted well-wishes from fans and fellow celebrities in the comments section. Among those who reacted to the news at the time were presenter Ryan Seacrest, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger and singer John Mayer.
