Jess Glynne 'hired bodyguard for GQ Men of the Year bash over stalker trauma'
Singer Jess Glynne was reportedly forced to hire a personal bodyguard to accompany her at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards after-party after her traumatic involvement with a stalker.
Since it was revealed that the 34 year old star was being stalked since 2019 after they started turning up at her home, she has been left too scared to go out. Pictures of Jess show that she had a wall of security around her as she headed to her vehicle at the end of the awards after-show party. Jess attended the awards show with her girlfriend, football star Alex Scott.

The singer's partner Alex Scott was also present at the GQ event (WireImage)A source reportedly said: "Jess is still a bit nervous going back out again so while unusual, she is currently taking security to all of her events. She's not letting it cramp her style though. She and Alex were on great form, taking over a table in the corner of the room for all of their mates. " The insider added to The Sun: "In fact, when it came time to go, Jess opted to carry on the party while Alex called it a night around 1am."
Earlier this month, it came to light that the star had to call the police after a fan was found outside her home with a alleged dubious looking package, four years ago. Sources at the time said that the alleged incident happened a year after the release of her 2018 album Always In Between. The alleged suspect was a woman in her twenties and was reportedly interviewed by police before being deported back to Sweden.
An insider told The Sun that the woman started turning up outside her London flat holding a football and started watching Jess at all hours of the day. And understandably, at one stage Jess felt too scared to leave the her home. But Jess has since tried to get on with her life and has recently found love with Alex.

They were spotting in a passionate embrace while strolling through central London together. Jess was seen walking with her arm wrapped around Alex. They then shared a kiss and a hug before heading off in different directions near Great Portland Street.
This came after they had been attending the same events amid speculation of a budding romance. And a friend of the couple told the publication that their romance has been a "slow burn" as they were keen not to rush things by going public too soon.
But now, they are clearly happy to show their love for one another as they share a mutual respect for their careers and support each other accordingly. And this was why neither were left bothered to kiss in public knowing that there was a chance that they could have been pictured doing so. The source added: "It's still early days for them, but they've met one another's mates and everyone is super happy for them."
