When it comes to skincare, everybody knows that the first step is making sure you've got a clean canvas on which to work. And one brand which has recently launched into the realm of skincare with a new range of cleansers and a toner is Coco & Eve, best known for its viral hair masque. And it just so happens that these new cleansers - alongside with its core products like shampoos, conditioners, masques and fake tan - are included in the viral brand's Black Friday sales, which sees up to 50 per cent off sitewide.

Now, I am, like many women, a bit of a sucker when it comes to products that claim to give you a dewy glow for a good price - I'm a big fan of the Revolution Pro miracle cream and Simple's Vitamin C Brightening Serum - and products that also look pretty (the packaging is all pink everything). And so, naturally, when I got the opportunity to try out Coco & Eve's brand new cleansing power couple - Seed Oil Cleanser and Fruit Enzyme Cleanser - and its milky toner, I jumped at the chance.

Usually costing £66 together, the trio - named the Glow Getter set (already onto a winner with the name) - has been discounted by 20% in the BF sale and now costs £53. Made with eco-certified ingredients and enriched with natural extracts - like papaya seed oil, dragon fruit, banana and coconut - as well as componants like Niacinamide and Salicylic acid, this trio's formulas claim to "help protect against free radicals and deliver anti-ageing benefits, giving skin UNREAL radiance". And there's no way I'm saying no to that.

Of course you may be wondering 'Why on earth do you need two cleansers?' Surely one good cleanser (such as the CeraVe Hydrating one) will do the job.

Well, as clarified by Coco & Eve's Innovation Director Nassim Belhaq, the reason is this: "Pollution, spf, makeup and excess sebum production forms a layer of impurities on your skin during the day. This clogs your pores, leading to skin irritation and blemishes.

"Only double cleansing using an oil-based formula followed by a foaming cleanser can remove all types of skin deteriorating factors."

Consider me sold.

So when I received my cleansers and toner - all of which are a really good size; you can tell they will keep you going for a while - as sad as it sounds I couldn't wait to clean my face and test out its ability to remove make up in one fell swoop while ridding my skin of impurities.

I put my trusty Medik8 Micellar Mousse cleanser aside and ditched my Pixi Glow toner (temporarily) and began following Coco & Eve's suggested process - oil first then foam then toner.

I pumped the Seed Oil Cleanser into my palm. I don't know what I was expecting but it was so much more liquid-y that I'd imagined. It wasn't paste-like as some other cleansers I've used are (Q+A's cleansing balm that turns oily). But that's no negative - it was light and splashed out of the bottle as I pumped.

I rubbed it between my hands and gently smeared it on my face - which was painted with primer, spf, foundation, blush, a smidge of bronzer, concealer, eyeshadow, mascara and some lippy. Working in circular motions to get in all the nooks and crannies, I was pleasantly surprised to see the clear oil picking up my make up. It was turning a light apricot colour (from the amalgamation of the products on my face at the time) and didn't feel too heavy, which was nice.

Washing it off with warm water, I was pleased to find my skin didn't feel particularly greasy. You put oil on your face, you expect it to feel somewhat greasy. Nope, it felt fresh - this was a good start, I thought.

Onto the Fruit Enzyme Cleanser, which was a runny white solution packed with fruit enzymes to remove any traces of grime hiding away in your pores. While I should have expected it from an exfoliating cleanser, I was shocked to discover it had little grains in the liquid although I soon moved past it as it felt quite nice. Not too harsh but just harsh enough that I could feel it working.

The foam lathered up subtley and wasn't bubble-bath worthy but light. Upon rinsing the second cleanser off, my face felt so soft and clean. It also looked pretty pristine, with no traces of makeup and it didn't feel parched and yearning for moisturiser.

The toner is the third step in this routine. Described as a 'Reviver' the Antioxidant Hydrating Milky Toner claims to hydrate your skin for a plump finish and give your face a little radiance boost while reducing skin redness. I absolutely adore this product. After popping a few drops into my palm, I rubbed the toner into my face and loved that it absorbed really nicely and quite quickly and instantly gives a dewy look. It finishes off my prep so nicely and just adds a little glisten to my face.

For me personally, my skin felt instantly more hydrated - especially in this cold weather - and had a nice feel and look to it that made me not want to put on make up.

And after using it religiously for a few weeks, my skin is smooth, supple, I can actually see a reduction in my pores plus, I've got quite a nice, natural rosy glow - I consistently double take in the mirror each morning following this routine.

One thing I was intrigued to see was how my sensitive and often quite dry skin would hold up after this new product. I suffer quite badly with Saharan-dry skin on my nose, forehead and on parts on my cheeks, especially in winter, and so I was intrigued to see how these products would impact - and hopefully help - it.

Well, it's safe to say that I've experienced no dryness on my face since these products came into my life. Which means that I must stock up in the Black Friday sale immediately and use them forever. And I'm not alone as those who have used these products are singing its praises with not one bad review.

One shopper said: "With every use, I noticed my fine lines and texture disappearing. It kept my skin bright, plump, and soft. I’d say that these products are going to be a staple in my daily skincare routine and it would feel like a crime to pass on them!"

Another added: "I can’t get enough of this skin care set iv always struggled with dry flaky skin but both these cleansers manage to get rid of my dry skin without stripping it of any moisture whereas the toner (my favourite) a few drops and my skin is soothed and feels hydrated and smooth. It also helps the rest of my skincare sink in well. Honestly the best skin care I've tried."

While my opinion of these cleansers is pretty high, the only downside is that if you get the product on your lips, and you don't quite manage to get it all off in the rinsing stage... it doesn't taste very nice nor does it leave the best texture. But these products aren't meant to be eaten and if you rinse properly... you'll not experience it.

Now, I must add that these products aren't my first brush with Coco & Eve. Oh no. I've been a big fan of them for years ever since I tried its Sweet Repair masque and shampoo and conditioner that not only smelt divine, but left my hair frizz-reduced (not entirely -free because my hair is unruly) and gave me the ability to relatively easily rake a hairbrush through my wet tresses - which is often a full on workout. Next on my list to try is the Like A Virgin hair mask - down from £33 to £26 - and fake tan (I've always been a Bondi Sands supporter, but I'll give the Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing foam, down £26 to £23, from a whirl).
