Designer perfume hailed as 'perfect' is half price in Amazon Black Friday sale

We all know that devastating feeling when you reach the bottom of a pricey perfume that's not that easy to replace due to its cost. Thankfully, Amazon has slashed the prices of much-loved fragrances by up to 50% off - and one included in the online giant's Black Friday sale is this Calvin Klein Eternity For Women Eau de Parfum that has been hailed as 'perfect'.

Usually retailing at £85, the 100ml bottle is a floral scent with notes of bergamot, mandarin, lily, white rose, violet, and sandalwood. The product has now been reduced to £42 and is described as an "evergreen perfume" as a result of its timeless scent. And shoppers are certainly impressed as the perfume has had over 12,000 five-star reviews on Amazon.

One wrote: "I bought this as I was looking for a light, flowery perfume for day to day wear. This is just perfect. Lasts all day."

Another added: "My favourite perfumes have a unique scent, I have been using them for a very long time and the price is right for 100 ml, thank you."

A third, who declared it a "sophisticated" perfume, said: "Lovely timeless scent, has always been my Mum's favourite and as an adult I wear it too. It lasts forever as you don't need much and once applied to the skin or clothes the smell is long wear. Would highly recommend for anyone that wants a sophisticated perfume. Subtly sweet top notes and warm undertones just beautiful smelling."

It's not the only Calvin Klein scent Amazon has reduced ahead of the official Black Friday extravaganza, which falls on November 24.

Calvin Klein Euphoria For Women has had its price cut by 60%, making it £34, while Calvin Klein CKIN2U For Her Eau de Toilette - which is currently a number-one bestseller - is down to £19.99 from £60.

Fragrance lovers are also rushing to the likes of Boots, to get their hands on scents like YSL's Black Opium NEON Eau de Parfum, which has gone down in price from £105 to £52.50. Lookfantastic has also joined in with the cost cuts ahead of Black Friday when it comes to perfumes, and this Versace Woman Eau de Parfum 100ml has been reduced to £43.50. If Coco Chanel is more your bag, the Mademoiselle Eau De Parfum spray is currently on offer at John Lewis for £56.80 - down from its usual price of £71.
