The One Show has been hit with a schedule change tomorrow.

Alex Jones made an announcement at the end of tonight's show, which she hosted alongside Roman Kemp. The pair were joined by Vinnie Jones, who was discussing his new show, Vinnie Jones In The Country, whilst they also chatted with a young boy called James, one of their Challenge Squad heroes who joined Vernon Kay on his Ultra Ultramarathon for Children in Need.

The One Show normally airs Monday through to Friday from 7pm to 7.30pm but Alex made an announcement at the end of tonight's episode, confirming the show would not be on tomorrow evening.

She revealed that Children In Need would start airing at 7pm tomorrow (Friday November 17th), meaning that The One Show would not be airing as normal. However, she did confirm that they will be taking part in the main show as two of the Challenge Squad heroes will be doing some very special performances during tomorrow night's live show.

Children in Need will air tomorrow evening, with the likes of Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel Giedroyc, Jason Manford, Chris Ramsey, Lenny Rush and Alex Scott MBE all hosting the annual event to raise money for charity.

Sketches will include a special one-off Doctor Who scene, which stars David Tennant whilst in the MasterChef kitchen, John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be joined by Britain's best-loved puppets. There will be a parody of Race Across The World, called Race Across Yorkshire, as people try and find their way to the town of Pudsey in Yorkshire.

The money raised through BBC Children in Need's appeal for 2023 will help both children and young people overcome the challenges they are currently facing. They support people living in poverty as well as providing support to families in crisis. The charities they work with will help comfort children feeling sad, lost and alone whilst also helping children overcome social injustice. They will support children to make sure they feel safe and secure wherever they are in the UK.

The appeal has been running for a number of years, and this year, Vernon Kay has been taking on a very special ultra marathon to raise money. Speaking about the support he's got so far, he said: "As much as you can do with the muscles that are going to power you along, it’s the muscle between the ears which is the most important and that’s the one that’s been pushing me because of, basically because of all the donations […] and everyone just coming out and saying hello. Like, literally we were in the middle of nowhere last night and people were lining the country roads, cheering us on in the dark, in the cold, in the wind."
