Jess Glynne channelled her inner Madonna as she wowed fans at the GQ Awards on Wednesday.

Joining girlfriend Alex Scott at the glitzy bash, the popstar looked sensational as she took inspiration from Madonna for her look for the awards show. The 34-year-old went for a silver and black floor length gown for the event which she paired with sparkly heels and leather look gloves.

She styled her red hair in loose curls as went for a full glam makeup look with a grey smokey eye, finishing off her bold look with a dainty pair of stud earrings and a silver necklace.

Meanwhile, newly-announced girlfriend Alex Scott opted for a bold see-through look in a silver mesh gown with long sleeves. The former footballer ditched the bra for the sheer number but wore nude knickers, pairing it with mirrored court shoes.

While the couple decided not to pose together on the red carpet, they were spotted leaving in the same taxi with pals as they headed home.

The MailOnline reported that a source said: "They were walking around holding hands for everyone to see. They partied with a group of friends. They looked very happy to be there."

Jess and Alex recently went public with their romance after months of rumours. A friend told The Sun: "Alex and Jess have been a slow burn and they didn't want to rush things or go public too soon.

"But they're officially an item now and seem really happy. They are both strong, independent women with a shared passion and respect of their respective careers, supporting one another from the sidelines. It's still early days for them, but they've met one another's mates and everyone is super happy for them."

It was last month that it was confirmed that the pair were officially an item, with Alex wishing her girlfriend a happy birthday. Alex took to her Instagram to share a snap of Jess and writing: "Happy new song day and you day." She also add Jess' son Friend of Mine to play over the post.

Alex previously opened up about her dating life, saying that she was open to meeting someone but was struggling to find the one. Speaking to Grazia in March, Alex said: "I remember Jamie Redknapp telling me 'There's a dating app Raya...' So I was on it but I was to scared to connect with anyone.

"For me, it's all about connection that instant connection with someone and conversation and I'm like 'Oh wow.'" She also talked about being ready to have children and being prepared to do it on her own after previously saying she wasn't quite ready yet.
