Alex Scott wows in daring slinky see-through silver gown at GQ Awards

Alex Scott dazzled onlookers at the GQ Awards last night as she opted for a daring see-through chainmail dress

The former Arsenal right-back, 39, looked sensational as she walked the red carpet at the glamourous event held at London's The Royal Opera House on Wednesday night. Her outing comes just days after she appeared to confirm a romance with chart-topping songstress, Jess Glynne, as the pair smiled while out and about on a walk.

But just days after her glossy raven locks were on display for all to see, Alex made the bold decision to completely transform her look ahead of the glitzy bash where she was joined by the likes of Leah Williamson and Gary Lineker.

In a bold statement look, the footballer-turned-pundit ditched her bra and stepped out in a striking sheer silver dress. Alex opted to wear nothing but a thong underneath her dress, despite the plummeting temperatures, as she posed up a storm for the hoards of paparazzi.

This, however, wasn't all as she debuted a new look after waving goodbye to her long glossy locks and instead rocked a bobbed look which rested just above her shoulders. Prior to walking the red carpet, she took to Instagram to share a snap of her hair resting on the floor after she had it chopped off. For the bash which was "celebrating the people who shape the world's cultural landscape," Alex rocked a classic yet sophisticated make-up look with a touch of nude lipstick while her eyes were highlighted by bronze eyeshadow.

Her outing comes just days after Alex wished her rumoured girlfriend Jess Glynne a happy birthday and also marked the release of Jess' music comeback. Sharing a snap of the red-headed beauty, Alex penned: "Happy new song day and you day," she wrote alongside a photo of Jess posing on a sun-drenched deck by a body of water.

It's claimed that the rumoured couple had been dating for several months but decided to keep their romance super low-key. "Alex and Jess have been a slow burn and they didn't want to rush things or go public too soon," a source told the Sun. "But they're officially an item now and seem really happy. They are both strong, independent women with a shared passion and respect of their respective careers, supporting one another from the sidelines."

Although the pair didn't walk the red carpet together, they were sitting alongside each other at the Attitude Awards in London last month as onlookers saw them laughing and joking.
