Helen George's co-star reunites with ex after actress was seen leaving his house

Helen George's co-star Olly Rix was seen having a coffee with his ex girlfriend shortly after Helen was papped leaving his house.

The Call the Midwife star, 39, was spotted leaving fellow actor Olly's pad at the weekend after both actors recently split from their partners. Olly, 36, separated from his makeup artist girlfriend Natasha Fagri after seven years together in July, allegedly drifting apart due to work commitments. However, he was seen catching up over a coffee with his ex on Wednesday, sporting a navy baseball cap, khaki jacket and jeans.

Seen hugging Natasha, who looked suitably dressed for the crisp weather wearing a cerise wool coat, leggings and trainers, Olly played with the former couple's adorable dog - who they share joint custody of - in trendy Notting Hill, London. The pair looked happy in each other's company as they caught up over coffee before leaving the cafe as Olly clutched another cup of coffee.

The actor met Helen, who announced she had split from her partner, Jack Ashton, also in July, after they first met on the set of Call The Midwife seven years prior.

Helen and Jack met when he joined in 2014 as vicar Tom Hereward. Although she turned down his on-screen proposal, the pair fell for each other in real life while filming the 2016 Christmas Special in South Africa. Their daughter Wren was born in 2017, and their youngest, Lark was born in 2021.

The Trixie Franklin star is now said to be supporting Olly, who stars as Matthew Aylward in the show, after his breakup with Natasha. On Sunday morning, the actor was seen leaving his West London home, cutting a casual figure in dark jogging bottoms and a puffer coat, before he returned carrying two takeaway coffee cups.

Helen was later seen emerging from his home carrying a large black bag and holding onto a lead as she took her dog Charlie with her. According to The Sun on Sunday, an onlooker reported that Olly looked "relaxed", while Helen looked a "little dishevelled" when she left.

An insider said: "It's been a tricky year for both Helen and Olly. They have been spending a lot of time together on set, walking their dogs together and chatting a lot.

"They both have respect for each other as actors and they are supportive of each other and dedicated to their roles on the drama. The changes in their relationships have caused a lot of upheaval."

However, a spokesperson told The Mirror: "Yes, she went to visit a friend for a cup of tea - like all friends do - and as we have always said, there is nothing more to this."

Helen and Olly's characters are linked romantically on-screen, with lovers Trixie and Matthew finally tying the knot in the season 12 finale earlier this year..
