Many of us can only dream of achieving the 'glass skin' and flawless complexion often seen on Hollywood's finest. However, for fans of Hailey Bieber, that goal is slightly closer as one of her go-to moisturisers can be bought on the high street and on Amazon, it's less than a tenner. Plus, it's been declared as the "best moisturiser I've ever used" by some skincare lovers.

The Weleda Skin Food has had it's price reduced since we discovered it was on Amazon for £11.95 and it's now being sold on the shopping site for £9.43, almost £2 cheaper - every little helps in this day and age. If you don't need a full size tube, you can bag 30ml of the stuff for £6.

The brand and its Skin Food has been around for decades (since 1926) and has consistently had shoppers hooked - proven by a whole bunch of five-star reviews describing it as being "gold for the skin" and "magic". So we're not surprised it caught the attention of socialite and model Hailey Bieber, who uses it as part of her skin prep.

Made with natural ingredients such as chamomile, calendula, revitalising rosemary extract, sunflower seed oil and wild pansy, the cream is a thick, nourishing treatment for the whole body - face, elbows, hands, feet, you name it - and claims to give dry, flaky skin in need of TLC a glug of hydration to replenish its moisture.

One shopper remarked that the cream was great for "inflamed sensitive skin" and said that she bought it after being influenced by makeup artists on BBC show Glow Up. They wrote: "I get dry patches under my eyes and on my eyelids. This is a miracle cream for me and smells great, I use it before I apply my makeup it really hydrates the skin and acts as a good base for your makeup.

"Good for inflamed sensitive skin, it is amazing quality and has a thick texture."

Another shared their opinion in their five star review and declared it was a "winter skin game changer" and said: "I have skin like the Sahara. [As] the temp started to drop, my skin was the driest its ever been. I've done Drunk Elephant, Skin Fix, La Roche Posey Cicaplast Balm, and a host of others.

"This is the one. Locks everything in and keeps my looking hydrated all day. Warning, if you're not great with scents you'll hate this, its VERY strong. It does go away not long after application though. For the price it's a no brainer."

A third stated: "This moisturiser has become a daily staple! Nice thick consistency, which provides lots of hydration for my dry skin. Although the consistency is thick, it does not feel heavy or like it is blocking my pores.

"My skin is quite sensitive and can sometimes react to new products, this has not happened with this cream. My skin has never felt or looked better. This is also a great base for under makeup. Love this cream, couldn't be without it now!"

While the vast majority of shoppers left glowing reviews for this product, a number commented how they wished it was fragrance-free due to the "overwhelming" scent.

"The smell is a little strong and it’s quite a sticky moisturiser however it makes my skin feel amazing," said one.

Another added: "Just as TikTok shows, it is a game changing moisturiser. The one thing I’m not a major fan of is the smell - it’s like sweet orange essential oil. Not bad, just not my favourite smell :) but it’s super hydrating and works well even with my sensitive skin."

While Weleda is at the top of its game - and understandably - there are a number of contenders whose products can also tackle dry skin to give you that luxuriously hydrated winter glow.

Neal's Yard Frankincense Hydrating Cream has been dubbed a 'treat for thirsty skin' - although its price point is a little higher at £33. For something a little more like it in terms of cost, at £9.50, CeraVe's Moisturising Cream with hyaluronic acid and three essential ceramides is great for those who suffer with skin that's 'dry to very dry' as it's been formulated with 'MVE' technology to really lock in moisture.

For something a little more lightweight that absorbs quickly, Cetaphil's Daily Hydrating Moisturiser (£14.49) contains hyaluronic acid and protects the skin against dryness.
