Justin Timberlake 'could break silence on Britney book backlash in new song'
There's speculation that Justin Timberlake could address the negative attention he's received following the release of Britney Spears' memoir in a new song with pal Timbaland.
Britney, 41, released her highly-anticipated memoir the Woman in Me last month. A number of celebrities were referenced in the book, including her ex Justin, 42. They had been in a relationship from around 1999 until 2002.
She made a series of claims about him in the newly-released memoir, including that he cheated on her. Britney also said that she had an abortion during their relationship. She claims that Justin felt they were "too young" to be parents and Britney suggested that she wouldn't have gone through with it had it been "left up to [her] alone".

It's now been claimed that Justin's longtime collaborator Timbaland, 51 - whose real name is Timothy Mosley - hopes to get him in the studio to work on music addressing the reaction. It's been teased that such a song could "react to everything" and also potentially be "a complete banger".
Alyssa Milano 'apologises to Britney' as she's called out for 'bullying' tweetA source told the Daily Mail that producer Timbaland will protect his relationship with singer-songwriter Justin "at all costs". The source went on to suggest that the *NSYNC band member is an "easy target" at the moment.
They added: "Timbaland actually wants to use all this energy and get Justin in the studio to write a song about it all, to give his response to all the haters." The source further commented that the pair have been "writing for a while".
The source said that while they have "many songs for Justin's next album" already, Timbaland "has seen what these last few weeks have turned into and wants to get Justin to let his creative juices flow and make a song that will react to everything and also be a complete banger."
Justin has collaborated with Timbaland on numerous occasions over the years. This included working together on his album The 20/20 Experience, released in 2013, which was produced by Timbaland. The latter is also credited as a producer on singles like Cry Me a River and SexyBack.
