MAFS UK's Luke Worley claims he's 'been blacklisted' after reunion snub

Reality TV star Luke Worley claims he's been "blacklisted" from Married At First Sight UK.

He was removed from the popular E4 programme after fighting with co-star Jordan Gayle in chaotic scenes which played out last month. The heated confrontation resulted in Luke and wife Jay Howard being kicked off the show by broadcast bosses.

Now Luke won't be taking part in this year's MAFS reunion show after his axing, with sources saying "trust has been lost" with producers. "Luke's relationship with Channel 4 has deteriorated since his axing was aired," claims an insider.

They told MailOnline: "Not only did he come to blows with Jordan but he's also used threatening language towards him on social media, which of course the channel deems unacceptable. Luke has spoken out about his experiences filming the show and no doubt will do so again... the trust between him and Channel 4 has been lost. He doesn't feel great knowing that the majority of the cast are filming the special and his invite was well and truly retracted but they feel that right now his attitude is too difficult to manage."

Luke has since taken to social media, breaking his silence on the ordeal. Penning a post on his Instagram Story, he explained: "I've been blacklisted. Who wants the full story?" He attached screenshots of several newspaper headlines.

It was last month that Channel 4 bosses gave the Essex salesman, 30, his marching orders with "immediate effect" after he "shocked both cast and crew with his aggressive behaviour". TV management felt they had no choice but to eject Luke from the E4 series due to their zero-tolerance policy against violence after his violent altercation with Jordan Gayle.

In scenes which aired on Married At First Sight UK, viewers watched with bated breath as Luke went knocking on Jordan's apartment door only to end up pushing him, with the pair finding themselves in a heated brawl which viewers later deemed 'embarrassing'. The argument kicked off after Luke accused Jordan of trying to 'ruin' his marriage with Jay over comments Jordan made at the previous dinner party.

After Luke and Jay were axed from the E4 series over Luke's behaviour, the reality TV star has since spoken out, admitting that he "lost everything" after and was left feeling at his lowest when his previous relationship broke down. Thankfully, Luke decided to go on MAFS UK for another chance at finding love, and ultimately found Jay, who is he now still in a relationship with months after the pair were given their marching orders.

Appearing on Jordan Brook's podcast, Into The Barbershop, Luke opened up about his mental health struggles after breaking up with his former girlfriend before he found love again with Jay on MAFS UK. The Essex native confessed he felt as though he didn't want to go on after the break-up happened.

"People don't talk about men's mental health enough you know. People thought I was okay after the break-up, but I wasn't. I was suicidal," Luke revealed. "I've not said this to no-one, so this is the first time I'm saying it. There was one time I was sat on the end of my bed with tablets in my hand. That relationship was all I knew. It wasn't just her I lost, it was my pet, it was my home, it was her family, it was my life. My life was done. This is why I needed to go on MAFS."

When asked by podcast host Jordan if Luke feels 'good' mentally now after finding love again, the reality TV star confirmed: "Yeah I'm so good. The reason I chose to do MAFS this year is because I was ready. I would have been in the wrong headspace the previous years. It wouldn't have been the real me, so, I wanted to wait until I was in the right place. I obviously married a stranger, and it worked out."
