Former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Brendan Cole shared his thoughts on the romance rumours swirling about pro Dianne Buswell and soap actor Bobby Brazier.

EastEnders star Bobby and Dianne were paired together in this series of the BBC dance competition. Viewers have talked about the pair's chemistry over the weeks. They get along like a house on fire and have previously discussed their close bond both on and off the dancefloor.

Fans have been in awe watching their close relationship form on the dancefloor, with the two even playing ill-fated lovers Romeo and Juliet for one of their ballroom dances. And now, Brendan, who was a pro dancer on the show until 2018, weighed in on the 'price you have to pay' for being on Strictly.

"If you're on a big show like Strictly Come Dancing, there will always be a price to pay. Your private life is no longer your private life," he said about the fan-favourite duo. "The speculation will always come from the intimacy you see between two people, but that's the nature of dance."

As reported by The Sun, he told Sky Bingo: "There's going to be a little bit of speculation if there's a bit of chemistry or if one lingers too long on a handhold or a gaze across the room." Soap star Bobby recently opened up about his close relationship with Dianne - who has been dating Joe Sugg since 2018 with the two sharing a home.

Speaking on the ITV daytime show Lorraine, Bobby explained: "We spend so much time together [in rehearsals] all day every day together." Dianne added: "So if we didn't like each other, that would be an issue!" Bobby then added: "There are times when I don't like you, but then there are times that I love you."

Yet despite Strictly romance rumours, Bobby is reported to be “absolutely besotted” with model Tillie Amartey. A source exclusively told The Mirror: “Bobby was really keen on her, but she decided to call time on the relationship, feeling they weren’t compatible. There was no big row and, as they have always been on/off, Bobby hasn’t given up. He is doing all the running at the moment. Bobby is messaging Tillie constantly in between rehearsals and has also asked her to the Strictly studio."

The source added: “Tillie does really like him, but she is based in Manchester and hasn’t decided if she will come down to see him. She doesn’t want to fall back into something if she thinks it won’t work out for them in the long term." Bobby has also been marked as 'one to watch' by the Strictly Come Dancing judges and became a favourite to win the show.
