Before she was an integral facet of her father's business and one of his most trusted political advisers, Ivanka Trump followed in the footsteps of her mother, Ivana, and attempted a modelling career.

Now, as she prepares to take the stand in Donald's infamous $250 million fraud suit in New York, a harrowing account of a strange and sickening request the former president had for his daughter has resurfaced.

As Ivanka was pursuing modelling, Donald wanted her to get breast implants to bolster her appearance and skyrocket her modeling career to new heights.

In a groundbreaking tell-all report published by Vanity Fair senior reporter Emily Jane Fox in 2018 — a mere year into the infamous reign of the former president — she writes that "Donald wanted it for her, bad, to the point where he suggested to friends that breast implants might help her along."

The book, titled "Born Trump," also details the horrified reaction of Donald's sister, Maryanne, when she found out about her brother's demands. She reportedly went to some of his pals and asked them to talk him out of forcing Ivanka to undergo the procedure, PEOPLE reported in an analysis of the book.

Those pals did try to talk the real estate mogul out of it, but they had little success, with Donald playing devil's advocate the entire time, Maryanne told Fox.

Whether or not Ivanka, now 36, did undergo surgery remains a mystery — but the comments Donald made over the decades about his daughter's flawless figure have withstood the tests of time, and as the Republican makes another vie for the presidency ahead of the 2024 election and finds himself buried under four felony indictments as well as his fraud trial.

Over the years, he's made several lewd comments about his daughter's body and about the potential gigs she could snag if her modeling career took off. He made a comment on The View in 2006 about her potentially being featured in Playboy, saying he wouldn't be disappointed, and also said that he'd date her if she wasn't his daughter because "she does have a very nice figure."

But Ivanka is much more than her looks and always has been — in fact, she's a brilliant businesswoman who served as the Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for the Trump Organization and later as one of her father's most trusted White House advisers once he assumed the presidency in 2017.

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Ivanka was all smiles as she waltzed into the New York City courtroom, where her father is on blast for allegedly inflating the value of his financial assets, including many real estate holdings, in order to improve his odds at garnering low-interest loans and amazing deals. Much of the case revolves around the reported shady dealings the Trump Organization found itself entangled in, many of which included Ivanka and her brothers, Donald Jr and Eric.

The charges against Ivanka were dropped, however, with her attorneys citing a statute of limitations, which had expired. Everything that happened after February 2016 was still fair game, but because she had assumed the role in her father's cabinet, she wasn't involved in the alleged dealings Donald now finds himself on blast for.

Ivanka still has a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the Trump Organization, however, and maintains close ties with several of the executives. She also owns real estate in Manhattan and was the brains behind several of the loans Donald is accused of obtaining through shady deals, such as the one that secured him a lease for a hotel in Washington, the Doral golf course near Miami that's tied to his infamous Mar-a-Lago estate and a hotel and condo skyscraper in Chicago.

The Trump Organization also continues to pay for her insurance, household staff, her credit card bills and rent for her apartments as well as her legal fees as she gets dragged back into her father's whirlwind of political and legal issues.

But while Ivanka has, over the years, remained close with her father, she has called him out on some of his inappropriate comments, such as the "grab her by the p***y" remark that went viral as he campaigned in 2016 for the presidency. She has, however, defended him on other occasions, including during the accusations about him assaulting a 13-year-old girl, telling the media that she knows her father better than many of the reporters do.

She's not expected to defend him in court on Wednesday, as she previously stated that she's stepping out of the political sphere, stating that she wants to prioritise her family and essentially that she wants the case to be done with so she can go back to her quiet life in Florida with her husband and three young children.
