Paris Fury 'fuming' as she 'fears for Tyson' and hopes for his 'last fight'

Paris Fury wants "nothing more" than to see Tyson retire.

Her professional boxer husband recently stepped back into the ring to fight Francis Ngannou. After defending his heavyweight title, mum-of-seven Paris was left "reeling" after finding our Tyson intends to keep fighting.

The 33-year-old learned live on TV that he's signed for two further bouts, telling reporters she was a "nervous wreck". She explained: "I'm hoping after Usyk [his upcoming fight against Oleksandr Usyk] that will be the end of it." But after being told he'd actually be stepping into the ring again, Paris admitted it was "news to [her]".

Now a source close to the family says Paris is concerned about "physical effects" fighting is going to have on Tyson. "Paris would love nothing more than for Tyson to make his next bout his last fight. She worries about him every time he steps into the ring and she hates that feeling," the insider told New! Magazine.

"He's getting older and she thinks about the impact this could have on their family. It's been very stressful for her and yet Tyson won't stop. He feels that fighting keeps him in a positive mental state. Paris is worried because she knows the physical effects a fight can have on him."

As parents to Venezuela, 14, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, and Athena, two, plus baby Prince Rico Paris Fury, the source says Paris wants to "put the children first".

"She feels so conflicted about it though, because she has always supported Tyson's career. Deep down she thinks Tyson will never really give up, but she knows what she married into," they explained. Tyson asked wife Paris to be his girlfriend when the couple went to watch King Kong as teenagers.

Heavyweight champion Fury first crossed paths with his future wife Paris whilst the pair were both attending a wedding. Already standing at over 6'0" and sporting a beard as a 17-year-old, Paris' mum couldn't believe Fury's age when she first spoke to him. Fury and Paris hit it off - but their first date was an awkward experience.

"Our first date was in the pictures and we went to see King Kong. All I kept thinking is ‘When is he going to kiss me? Is he going to kiss me? I’ve never kissed anyone before!’ The movie went on for three hours and when King Kong climbed up the Empire State Building that’s when Tyson decided to lean in and give me a kiss," Paris said on their Netflix documentary At Home with the Furys.

"It was the most awkward and embarrassing moment of my life to date. He said ‘Are you going to go out with me? Are you going to be my girlfriend’. I said ‘Yes I will’." The couple got married just three years after their first date and have since welcomed seven children into the world, with Paris not ruling out an eighth.
