Big Brother house reeling over nominations twist as housemates sob over task

Big Brother was full of drama again on Sunday night as a new nominations twist rocked the house, leaving the contestants in tears.

During the latest episode, the housemates woke up to discover that it was Jenkin's birthday and that they would be taking part in the Big Brother Hunger Games. As such, the house was transformed into The Hunger Games. The housemates had to become "tributes" and compete against each other in a series of challenges.

Getting into their costumes, Noky joked: "We’re going to look like we’re in a space film!" The housemates were divided into District A made up of Chanelle, Henry, Matty, Noky and Tom and District B made up of Jenkin, Jordan, Olivia, Trish and Yinrun.

The housemates soon took part in a series of challenges which tested dexterity, balance, risk-taking, strength and endurance. However, there was a twist, as during the task it saw one housemate nominated for eviction while another won immunity from the next eviction.

After District A were crowned the winners, they had to pick someone to gain immunity, which they all decided should be Chanelle, leaving the Dental Therapist in tears. Next up, losing team District B had to pick someone to face the next eviction. Selflessly, the likes of Jordan, Yinrun and Jenkin volunteered themselves, the group then each declared someone with Jenkin getting the most votes.

During the difficult decision, Yinrun was left sobbing as she voted Jenkin, especially as it was Jenkin's birthday, where she was comforted by her fellow housemates. Viewers were also quick to react to the scenes, one person said: "That. Was. Brutal. #bigbrotheruk #BBUK Happy birthday Jenkin :(", a different account put: "This is brutal #BBUK" while another added: "On his birthday, damn brutal #BBuk!"

Elsewhere on the show, Paul and Dylan's exits on Friday night during the double eviction caused a serious divide and drama in the house. Tom, Olivia and Jenkin were left shocked by Paul’s departure in particular. Speaking with Tom, Olivia said: "They did this. Those two girls did this." While speaking about Paul, Tom said: "He was literally one of the most genuine ones of us all."

Joking she will face the public vote again, Trish said: "I’m going to be wearing these dresses again" to which Henry laughed at Trish’s comment which left Tom less than impressed. Tom fumed: "They’re f***ing giggling right now. I can’t do this." Meanwhile, Trish said to Noky: "I think they were sure the public would hate me like they don’t like me. And so I feel like I’m going to be up for nomination again."
